Attachments in threads, images, docs and excel files

Calendar - race threads can be linked to calendar which then appear on the calendar tab or at the foot of the homepage under upcoming events. Also linked to the Upcoming Races tab on the homepage which offers fast access to race threads.

Todays Posts Added a todays posts tab that shows the current days threads

Embedding - Youtube, Dailymotion and Google videos. Google maps. Justintv and Ustream. More available on request

Spoilers - Hidden spoilers may be used in threads using the [spoiler] [/spoiler] tags

Live chat box For race coverage, and for general conversation that doesnt require its own thread or to stop threads getting full of nonsense

Blogs - users may have their own personal blog pages within the forum

Moderation

Users first three posts have to be approved by admins

Facility to put troublesome posts on approval so all posts have to be approved

Is there perhaps a possibility in the future to ensure that posters need at least a certain amount of posts before they can post in the doping forum, just so that we don't get the same type of trolls we had in the clinic who are just here to disrupt the conversation in the doping forum

To answer the signature question someone raised. At the moment signatures are set to only appear once per page. It cuts down on bandwidth for people browsing the forum.

However, to compensate for that, you may have images in your signature to a maximum size of 400x60 (subject to usual board conditions regarding spamming, offensive content etc)

sorry. was just getting to it once id set up all the permissions. by default all glob mods can do is edit posts. I upgraded it. Now just needs a better name than GLobal Moderator.

Would be nice to have an extra option at the Unread Posts-section. When I click on it, I get a list of threads which have new posts. What I'd like, and some fora have this option, is a link/button to the first unread post in a thread. Especially when threads become long, you don't want to wade through 15 pages of stuff you already read. Does the forum software have this option?

A few things:

Polls - show who has voted for what.

Online Indicator - I only worked it out then that it's the PM icon. Maybe they could be green/red so it's a lot clearer.

Display name length - no offense to theposterformerlyknownasmoondance but it seems quite long, what is the limit?

Quick Reply - Not sure the "With Quick-Reply you can write a post when viewing a topic without loading a new page. You can still use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post" bit is needed, could just remove it and center the box?

Forumview - Could use a bit of a touch up. The first column of blips could be more bold/colour coded. The second column I'm yet to actually figure out what they are? The title column seems a bit small, only 35-40%? Maybe the titles themselves could be bolder. The thread starter column appears too prominent for what is quite insignificant information for developed threads - could be resized and pushed to the end, or incorporated into the thread titles. The date at the end could be linked to take you to the first unread post in that thread. The new post indicator is rather discrete, although this may just be as I'm used to colours and boldness. OF course all this is purely subjective, just my opinion that when I open a forum what I want to be able to detect right away is what new threads/posts are there and have the titles stand out. Here my eyes seem to be drawn to the thread starter column as much as anything.

Threadview and the Index are nice though!

Admin - Nope. Spell checkers are very very heavy on servers and most browsers have spell checkers build in nowadays
