Whaaaaaa . . . ?  You mean I haven't come in here yet to thank Dim, dear Dim, for his splendid work in setting this up?   :-[ This forum is awesome  :) - well beyond anything we could expect.  All we can do now is make it grow.  (Until recently I was quietly recruiting, or trying to, from the other place, while also making myself into a very large walking billboard.  Now I'm trying to think of other schemes.)  Anyway,

Thanks, Dim!

This thread deserves a bump after Dim's hard work (successfully) migrating VR to a better and, from what I can definitely see, much faster environment.

:win Once again, Dim. My hero indeed.

...still tickled pink that we are here talking about this...a huge round of applause to dim for all the work that has gone into this project....

...and a big nod to the great group of folks who have congregrated here and who have behaved with such a great deal of class ( which is kinda mind boggling considering what this forum was spun off of )...

...so a big thank to all contributors ...both big and small... :wave :win :tu :'( :-* :)

Cheers

Defo, top work dim, it seems discernibly quicker even on the boggy connection I use. Top work, which is surely much appreciated by all. Same goes to L'arri, who speaks about stuff which usually stumps the lot of us, but it usually means something for the forum.

Also got to mention Dinzy's efforts on the Asian race threads, it's pretty tough to find info on it and some of the scouring out he has done is pretty brilliant.

I've been reading here fore a while, I just have not got round to doing this yet:

Thank you Dim and all the others that work hard here.  Without wanting to pee in anyone's pocket or overstate anything - but this is simply the best forum that I have ever been to.  Some of the things that make it so great (in no particular order):
- The shout out boxes for races, complete with profile pics, start list etc
- The front page with a calendar and upcoming events
- A great friendly environment where it seems that every one likes everyone else, and if there are disagreements it does not get personal
- The welcoming of new and inexpressive people rather than intimating them as 'newbies'
- The continual improvements that seem to happen almost every day
- The great work that people do to update us on so many things
- Cleaver/funny little things like being able to throw eggs on people's av's (as i just found out about the other day)
- And a bunch more things that I can think of atm

It is truly a great forum 'by the fans for the fans'!

Well done and thank you all!
