Giro BOTD and 27th placed Finisher
« on: May 02, 2012, 11:14 »
Right

Boomcie or Tuarts used to do this

But thought change things up a little

on every road stage pick the BOTD - for every correct name I will send you 25 VR $  for every wrong name you send me 25 $ VR.

27 th placed rider on all stages except the TTT

1st person the get it gets 500 VR $ NO NAME CAN BE TAKEN TWICE for a single stage

2nd time correct 400

3rd time  correct 300 etc etc

also 1000 VR $ for 27th over all - names again only taken once and in by the start of the 1st rider rolling down the ramp.

this is a honesty game so you send me the cash without me chasing you and it may take me time to add it all up so any help once the BOTD and final placings would be great..
ps if you dont pay remember I am a mod  8) O0

Fignon - In my day, doping methods were derisory and the riders´exploits were massive.
For the last 15 years or so  it has been the other way rond: there is a huge number of ways in which riders can dope, and any exploits are derisory.

What does BOTD mean?

I think OTD means of the day but B?
Despite the self-serving data benders and associated propaganda to the contrary, I am led to believe that there are pockets of organised, highly sophisticated dopers, even within 'new age' cycling teams. Personally, I don't accept that the 'dark era' has ended, it has just morphed into a new guise.

So wait, the gamer predicts who will be in the breakaway and who will get 27th on the stage? 25 to enter and you win 25 if you are correct?

Right it apears this may not be clear

There are 2 seperate games

1 breakaway of the day

I will make the figure 50 for correct 25 for noncorrect

You choose riders you think will go up the road

If 1or more of the riders named are in the break I send you money, but if there are some riders you named are not in the break you send me money.

Ie you name 5 riders 2 make the break 3 do not

So you win 100 but lose 75 so I would send you 25

Make sense ?

2nd game

27th place on the stage

Free to enter everyday ( ag your money is coming back )

You name the rider who will finish 27th on the stage

A rider can only be used once per stage

If you name the correct rider I send you 500

Once 1 correct guess has been made the figure is 400 then 300 etc

Make sense ?

Entres in for each stage before they finish the neutral zone
