I've added the secret weapon Andy Schleck to my team.

Also M. Kreder so I can blame JV when he fails.

I kept TB for Amstel I call it the jose clause
Fignon - In my day, doping methods were derisory and the riders´exploits were massive.
For the last 15 years or so  it has been the other way rond: there is a huge number of ways in which riders can dope, and any exploits are derisory.

Hopefully but I reckon Ansimi has a very good chance of winning as he has loads of transfers left - I think and I'm figuring whoever wins the VR league will possibly win the main thing also.

If I had kept Freire in from the word go I might be in a better position points wise but I swapped him out after M-S-R.  I might get him back again but I dunno yet.

Bugger.   I'm still leading but the other people I'm up against are packed with all the faves.

I think I made too many mistakes and wasted a few transfers early on but these things happen.     I set out to win the P-R round but won the Ronde one so no problems.

I think you might be able to hold on sublimit. It will be tough though. LBL will have groups so breakaway points can be huge depending how the race breaks up. You've got a good lead though. You should enjoy it right now anyway :win

Who's the Alkagon/Villains team? They're in the Velorooms mini-league but I don't recognize the name. Been a very good team for the whole game and has a good shot at the overall.

I panicked a bit after a terrible showing at Amstel and used all my transfers. It served me well for FW but that has a lower point value and I don't have the greatest team for LBL. The whole game is definitely about rationing transfers.

I presume he spends most of his time at CN but yeah I'm not familiar with him at all either..

Your team looks a good deal better than mine to be fair - I'm carrying too many DNS riders I think.
As i mentioned before I should of kept Freire in the whole time as that would of saved some transfers.    Anyway we'll see what happens,  hopefully a 20 man breakaway of obscure riders gets to the end!

Cheers yes,   I have Valverde also but I'm not convinced he'll do anything.. :-\ Albasini will go well for sure but I ran out of transfers otherwise I would of included him I think.

Anyway hopefully there's a Giro version to have a crack at after this one.

Wow, 9th in the end. Not bad considering I think I missed at least 2 trade deadlines and traded out Nibali in the last race. :D

Yeh I'm reasonably happy considering all of my trades happened in only about three windows. Forgot to trade Valverde in for LBL so had one left over, not that it would have got me anything!

17th - decidedly average

I would prefer it with no trades.  You pick a classics team and hope for the best.

But anyway - was fun

Just wondering when Velogames will be up and running for the Giro, since I can't see anything there, as yet.........
