Jeans for cycling

by Andreas on 03/04/2012 in CYCLING ACCESSORIES

Personally, I’ll wear anything to cycle in. From my normal every day clothes to Lycra and every once in a while I’ll even ride completely naked.

Lately however, you probably were not too surprised to hear about jeans specifically designed for cyclists. After all, just because you ride a bike, you don’t necessarily want to look like a cyclist

Skintight jeans for a male rider..  :fp   I suppose if the said rider wants to go around looking like a total douche then go ahead. This will probably appeal to an urban fixie rider to make themselves look even more stupid..

Might look OK for a girl rider though, or even better - denim skirts!

I remember these from Damiano's Rapha-hater thread. They are the epitome of smug cyclo-douche, and the $205 price tag is just kicking a guy when he's already down. And they cannot teach you to stand like that, you either have it or you don't.  :fp

I never called you fat.

Article doesn't mention how they got rid of all the seamwork in the crotch area. That'd be the main change I'd need to ride in jeans.
