Swans won, England winning in cricket, stormers ahead in the rugby and Roosters take the lead against Titans. Now if saints can beat the scum tonight i will start to believe that EBH can shock everyone and win Roubaix

A nice easy 5-0 win for the Angels!!! We left it a bit late but we got there in the end, Weaver pitched great again, this year he hopefully picks up the AL Cy Young Award. Alos good to see Kendrys back after almost 2 years out, the West is ours!

Padres were shut out and go to 0-2 , Looks like Haren had a rough outing for the Angels today

2nd worst outing of his career, regarding hits given up. He wasn't at the races and nor was the offense to be honest and this has been the problem the last 2 years.

The Rays have got off to a good start and it's always nice seeing the Yankees and Red Sox lose 8).

Another woeful display by the Angels, luckily there's 159 games left to sort it out!

Also today is the 3rd anniversary of Nick Adenhart's death, can't believe it's been that long RIP Nick.

Seems the Rangers have kept their hot bats, they've just gone yard 3 times in 5+ innings against the White Sox

Forgotten how great it is, watching baseball games in the evening its much better than watching them in the morning! The Angels need to pull their finger out, alreadt 2.5 games behind Texas!

Tahs beating the Rebels 30-21 and failing to win the bonus point. Gerrard's kicking was one of the few bright spots for the Rebels. No, not Steven Gerrard.

Damn Flyers lost two in a row. Still up 3-2 though. Providing Malkin's elbow doesn't influence this game, hoping for a series wrap tonight.

Kudos to Gravel and BYOP for predicting the improvement in the Nats. 8)

What a day yesterday - the perfect game, the damn Yankees slaughter of the Sox after being 9-0 down, and the Nats winning yet another in overtime, and another by a single run. The Nats defense is looking solid so the prediction of a .500+ season could actually happen. And the O's still top too. :D

Guys, is there enough interest for a dedicated MBL topic? It looks to me like there is.

NHL Conference Semi's finally decided with a OT goal by the Devils!

West
St. Louis Blues v LA Kings
Phoenix Coyotes v Nashville Predators

East
New York Rangers v Washington Capitals
Philadelphia Flyers v New Jersey Devils

Blues v Preds/Rangers v Flyers is my tip for the Conference Finals

The Sharks are out so it's not important anymore, I am glad the Caps beat the Bruins though

THe Blues really are sh*te, Nonu, Weepu and not much else. One win in 9, poor.

Johnny Wilkinson had a top day for Toulon, 7 pens and a couple of drop goals.

Slightly peeed off with the Angels bullpen and the lack of runs being scored by the offense, which is partly due to the fact of the awful OBP that is currently going on. Also cutting Abreu is a dumba$$ move too, should have traded him in ST, at least we would have got something in return for him, instead of a $9,000,000 loss for letting him go, but it was a poor move to allow him to reach the 500 PA last year which triggered the contratc option.

Heineken Cup final on May 19 at Twickenham will be between Leinster (for the third time in four years) and Ulster.  Ulster beat Edinburgh in their semi 22-19, and Leinster beat Clermont 19-15.  Clermont had a try ruled out in the final couple of minutes.
