I stopped using mine. I couldn't even make a phone call with mine. the buttons were too small for my sausage like fingers.

I now have a Samsung 575 virgin

Looks like fun dim. I just can't justify the price or learning curve for something I only use a couple of days every 3 months

Any body need  lg omptimus v only works with virgin mobile ???
The psychiatrist said it was an excellent session. He even gave me this jaw restraint so I won't bite things when I am startled.

I don't understand why they are making phones so big these days. Ok, I get the desire for a bigger screen but as a guy, what the hell am I supposed to do with a phone that can't fit in my pocket? I don't carry a murse or a fanny pack (now you know that I don't wear Rapha ;D) so where do I put the damn thing? They need to downsize these phones or upsize the size of pockets.
I never called you fat.

it never ceases to amaze me how many people have mobile phones
in Zambia everyone is broke but everyone has a mobile. that has not credit
they love them so much, every time we go we take a few old ones to give to people

in some smaller asian communities they use phones for banking. not banking apps but using phone credit as currency.

i am now sulking because my work would not let me get a galaxy 3 even though it is cheaper and much better than blackberry (you cannot even buy a blackberry in a store here). the reason they gave is basically people in Uk want android phones and would cost loads to switch over everyone so if we got them people in UK would get knickers in a twist. so we cannot have them. bastards

so my new crap blackberry is on its way and have to stick with it till they go out of business

what was this thread on again.  ;D

Yeh, they are blackberry mad over here. Its all so they can bbm each other for free (although there are free android alternatives similar to bbm)

ive never bbm'd anybody, and i dont intend to bbm anybody in the future.

nothing to do with bbm (i have never used it either) at work. simply they chose blackberry when it was the business phone of choice and now is expensive to change everyone over in one shot.

also because blackberry is good for email but sh*t for everything else it is kind of saying this is a work phone. for doing work. not a random perk you get.

so random part is if i buy myself a galaxy i can connect it to work email and use as work phone fine. but they will not buy it for me. even though it would save them 75 a month. but i will not buy myself one as why would i buy a phone when i am given a free one.

Blackberry are in the crapper anyway, their only customers are teenagers and businesses. That will end eventually.

In the days when they were the only ones who supported Push email they got away with it, but everything does now. There have even been rumours in the uk about them starting to charge for BBM.

I also have a Android, but it is sh*t, it freezes constantly and I can't use the camera anymore. Sometimes I also can't see my pics because the phone freezes, first time I was like Noes my Berto pics!! But I can sometimes look at them.

Anybody care to pass along some must have android apps. I like free ones. I've limited my self to the google shop as I went to another site and when downloaded, it looks like it was a phony app and it installed pushware that so far I cannot find to remove  >:(

I generally only download apps from teh google store, although i do have some ported apps from ics made to run on my phone..

Must have apps, or the first things i install after a rom change etc.

Root Aps - In other words apps that only work if your phone is rooted (rooting is easy but invalidates your warranty)
==================================================================================
Titanium Backup - by far the best backup manager out there
Adaway - the most reliable ad blocker on android.

Non Rooted
========
Go Backup - nowhere near as good as titanium but does the job and backs up your contacts as well
MX Player - by far the best video player
Dropbox - another essential - if you have dropbox on the pc as well you can auto share files, have any photos you take auto upload to your pc, and if you have titanium backup your apps to your computer
Instagram - great if you use twitter/facebook and want to share photos
whatsapp - great free text messenger to text other people with whatsapp, send photos etc, saves a fortune in texts
friendcaster for facebook - the official facebook app is sh*te
tune in radio - brilliant radio player (uses wifi) listen to almost any station in teh world
news republic - one of the nicer news apps
opera mini - nice alternative browser, although if you have ics you will hve chrome beta
wikipedia - official wiki app is better than the web version
Lookout or Avast mobile security - i prefer avast, more options if you are rooted, but even if not, good anti virus, and you can trace your phone by gps if you lose it

Paid Apps
=======
Player Pro - Really nice music player but if you have Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich the built in player is pretty good
Taptalk - you can view vr in a pretty way

Games
=====
Greedy mouse - simple, addictive
