I have been having my kids read my old science fiction books. That was the name they came up with since the kitten was lucky to be adopted.

Also, Ringworld is a must read for anyone into SciFi

Heinlein wrote The Cat Who Walks Through Walls. The cat was named pixel, and that is about the only thing I remember from the novel.

Sorry sizz just saw this! Well, I was trying to bring her inside as a storm was blowing in and she got scared by the other kitty and lurched out of my arms and landed on the tile floor or something ....

tore her acl in her left hind leg. A trip to the ER kitty vet that night and a visit next day to her Vet...several $$ ...they said with this injury cats usually heal well so she is confined to our bedroom but now is regaining use and healing well...so we let her roam around upstairs for a while every day.

Slow process but gad!
She is very happy so will post a new pic of her jackrabbiting her mousie....

Well not a lot of Joy in this post, I just got back from the vet after putting my eldest cat to sleep. She was 18 years old and had a good life. That is always the worst decision to make. I will see if I have pictures to post of her in her prime.
