Mens Road Cycling - Avid spectators! What races are you going to?

Where would be the best place to start a topic about what pro races we're attending or hoping to go to this year? It doesn't quite fit under general non pro race road chat but is it maybe too personal for a the race thread chat. I felt uncertain and would like guidance ;D

What races you going to.

( my logic here is you can put stuff where you like as long as you dont make a mess)

Alrighty, I shall go for the general road racing section then. I shall do my bestest not to make a mess ;p

I'm going to Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne but after that it's all very uncertain. However, I liked the idea of a thread where we could all discuss what races we're going to or aiming for as well as leave links to personal flickr/picasa/photositeofyourchoice pages or blog posts. Keeping it more general rather than requiring such posts to be kept for race specific topics, if that makes sense.
If I was going to Worlds this year, I'd feel a bit previous starting a thread already and a bit cheeky just starting it so I could hop up and down excitedly in it for seven months. I mean I could but it'd be embarrassing ;D

I'll probably go to most of the Spring Classics since they're max about 2 hours away. As of 2012, we run a weekend homestay for anyone who wants to stay with us and see them too. We'll be seeing the Tour this year too, as it begins over in Liège. 8)

A thread for discussing what races we're attending or hoping to attend, for leaving links to personal photos or blogs about the race and any other miscellaneous info to do with the joy that is going to watch cycling races.
L'arriviste mentioned their weekend homestay in another thread (http://velorooms.com/index.php?topic=153.msg2838#msg2838) and I think that would fit into this topic too. General race attendance chatter essentially ;D

The only definites I have for this year are Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne which I'm very much looking forward to. I did Omloop/KBK for the first time last year and it was quite marvellous. Wind, rain, mud and cobbles = grand

Rest of the year up in the air for anything far away but in races more local to me, I fully intend to be at the Tour of Britain and hopefully the Tour Doonhame.

I will catch at least one stage of the USPCCCCCCC!! damn I hope they get a better name. (if I find a job soon I''m aiming for the ToC)

Maybe next year I'll make it to see the RvV and PR....or the GIRO!

It's easy to get one near Mumbai as well. Mumbai- Lonavala, not very long yet it still has a nice climb to finish off. That would involve closing NH-4 though, and that may be a big deterrent.

Gent-Wevelgem,
Tour of Flanders,
Scheldeprijs - (Possibly),
Paris Roubaix,
4 Jours de Dunkerque (I love this race and wish Team Sky took part!)
Tour de France - Stages 2,3,4 and Paris,
Tour de Wallonie - Stage 1,
Olympic Games - Road,
Olympic Games - TT,
Eneco Tour,
Tour of Britain (Probably just the London stage),
Circuit Franco Belge.

Heh, really? It's a small world! Did I unintentionally get you in any pictures? I remember seeing photographs someone had submitted to the Team Sky facebook page and realising I was in them! I always look grumpy even when I'm not so it was a bit :-[

Me too. Starting to look like the riding i will see would take a flight to perth and photographing the west coast members of this forum as they go training. And for some reason some people seem to think that is stalking not spectating.
