-
in order of importance to me
Football- Saints & Sydney Fc
AFL-Swans
Cycling - team sky
Super Rugby - Waratahs + Stormers
Cricket - NSW and Kent
NRL-Roosters (used to watch more but really lost interest this year)
NFL- Saints (just because they are the saints)
MLB- Giants (but not really a fan)
pretty nationalistic as well so support England internationally and any Brits in other sports.
-
Liverpool football club. The only thing more important is friends, family and pets.
And then the dolphins. Beyind that my national team by inheritance is scotland, cornwall for county sports. Nothing else overly interests me.

West Ham United - since 1968
Ajax - since 1989 (when I came here)
Barca - since Cruijff's time as manager, early 90's
Holland (nope, not USA)
Washington Redskins
These are the teams in other sports that I follow, more or less in descending order of passion. I only dabble at baseball and hockey, don't really have any specific team, though I loved it when the Black Hawks took the Stanley Cup because they were the first hockey team I ever heard of as a kid (my father was from Chicago).
I think my cycling preferences are known here. I am the proud owner of Vacansoleil, from whom I expect some big surprises this season. 8)
The Rabos drive me fornicating crazy. :(
I do not like Cav.
I am also a Spartacus fanboy. :-*
I'm also a bit of a #46 fanboy, but he's not a team. ;)

I'm a sports fan so in general I have a lot of teams I "like" but I can't really say I support or am I fan of many. At the moment I support:
Football - (in order) Perth Glory, Wolverhampton, Leverkusen
AFL - Hawthorn
NHL - Flyers
Cycling - no specific team really (believe it or not)
Cricket - Aus/WA
Otherwise not much "support" but teams in a comp I follow:
NBL - Perth Wildcats
ABL - Perth Heat
AHL - Perth Thunder
NFL - San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens
MLB - Pittsburgh Pirates (would never have chosen them if I followed the Flyers like I do now :D)
Football - Lots, Falkirk, Preston NE, Plymouth, Dagenham, Chievo, Saint-Etienne
NRL - (defunct) Cronulla Sharks
Sure there's more I've forgotten. :D

He's a god. :tu

Somehow I don't follow a lot of team sports, the only commercial teams I follow are in football and cycling. In football those are Vitesse Arnhem within the Netherlands, and Liverpool within the UK and internationally. In cycling, Liquigas and Vacansoleil are my favourite two teams.
In other team sports I only watch national games, where I always support either the Netherlands or England (though if I have to choose, the Netherlands). With athletes in non-team sports I also tend to favour Dutch and English/British ones, but it depends on how much I know about the sport. In tennis for instance I support Federer over Murray because I like the former's playstyle better. In sports that I'm largely clueless about I just go with my national preferences to support an athlete.

Palermo and liverpool.
boston redsox and the patriot.
East bengal and mizoram 8) ;)
Italy and India.

Sadly it looks like the hockey season will be over for me this week, so instead of watching playoff games until mid June I can start getting some work done in my yard and maybe start to pile up miles on the bikes.
Not such a bad result I guess, don't know what the Canucks were doing.
-
Cricket - Hampshire and England
Rugby - London Irish and Scotland
Cycling - tend to support individuals rather than teams. I want to 'support' team Sky, and like a lot of their riders, but can't stand Brailsford and all their marginal gains/scientific approach bs
Other sports I'm interested in - F1 (big fan of Button but not McLaren), athletics, triathlon, swimming, hockey, and skiing
I hate football :)
-
Dances, a question for you. How did you end up supporting Hampshire and Scotland? Basically opposite ends of the isle that.
-
Have lived in Hampshire my whole life so fairly self explanatory. I am half English and half Scottish, so support England in cricket (and Scotland's team aren't much to write home about) but in rugby, I will support both, but always Scotland when they play against each other.
-
Ah, cheers Dancing. Do you mean that the Scottish rugby team is something to write home about?
