Not much to be learnt from the build up races.
Rally dominated the Tuscon Bicycle Classic with stage wins for Caitlin x2 and Lay. Lay took the overall after Caitlin had to leave early to get back to college. The reason it doesn't tell us much is because none of the opposition there (bar Sydlik from QCW) will be at Joe Martin.
Ditto at San Dimas. No teams/riders will be at both events.
First rider off in 14h10m
UHC and Tibco (for whom Walle didn't start) dominating the top of the leaderboard.
Short interview with the winner. Still got a bit of an English accent here and there.
Think Winder picked up some bonus seconds earlier.
Lechuga caught, but Supermint have another go with Bayer.
I don't think she's gonna make it. For what it's worth she was 53s down in the GC before today.
Our daily does of Winder.
There were a few splits going back through the field, but it was bonifications mainly that have increased her lead over Stephens to 10 seconds.
Bruderer, Maine, Newsom, McCutcheon, Hanson, Laroche, Hall, Orton, Luebke and Yan.
5km to go.
Trying to do it in style.
Win #3 and let's face it she probably would have won 4 if she hadn't tried a long one on Saturday.
