Of course, if this turns out someday to be the industry standard integrated handlebar-computer-braking solution then I'll eat my kevlar-reinforced aerodynamic hat.

This is great news for cycling but especially great for Elizabeth Armitstead, Sharon Laws, Emma Pooley, Lucy Martin some of the most talented riders the UK has ever seen... looking forward to a very exciting Olympic RR up Box Hill in July  :)

Very good news for all concerned. Seems like Slipstream did the best they could and long term it could be a better solution.

Hate to see women's races at risk of cancellation. It's becoming a vicious circle: little media attention means less sponsors, less sponsors means less teams and races, less races means less media attention, etcetera.

I hope the tide there can be turned, but I don't really see womens cycling pick up any time soon unfortunately..

I've seen prettier. Nice to see some of the long-lasting sponsors of the women's game continuing on there though - Ghezzi have been very supportive for a long time.

Good to see Cooke here as well, I know Pooley comes to WA often, she was here last year, I was in an event that she raced in - though she was the B Grade Men. ;D

Wow, First Durbridge and now Kent. WA conspiracy or what?

I wonder what the Track Team selection criteria. Am I completely senile in thinking that only those 4 selected for the TP are eligible to be nominated by CA for the other events?
