Four Nations 2012
« on: August 18, 2012, 18:03 »
It's not the Rugby Championship, it's the four nations. Surely.
Whole tournament telecast live here. How bloody grouse is Sony entertainment  :win

The Argies are there, though they'll be the Italy of this tournament.

All Blacks Wallabies and Springbok Argies took place. Flattering scoreline for the Aussies and Argies well beaten by a far better team.

That all black back row is wank worthy. Wonder how many caps Cruden would have if he were not behind Dan Carter. And Liam Messem's been having a storming season, should be a good one to watch too. Forwards be their only issue, and Australia on occasion did manage to show up the scrum.

Great to see Argentina there. Hopefully it will increase the profile of the sport there, especially with home games, rather than southern france had they joined the 6.

  • Despite the self-serving data benders and associated propaganda to the contrary, I am led to believe that there are pockets of organised, highly sophisticated dopers, even within 'new age' cycling teams. Personally, I don't accept that the 'dark era' has ended, it has just morphed into a new guise.

True, but they couldn't pick three harder teams to play regularly. While it may be good, they could, and should, get stuffed in each of their matches.

Argentina usually have a decent pack,  wont be pushovers but will find it tough in that comp.

They will improve with regular tough matches and could end up being rather good and not the gallant losers as per usual.    They have drawn with The Lions and All Blacks in the past, have beaten England so not completely useless like some teams can be.

Aye, and Lobbe is a machine when on form. Gave the ABs a right sh*t your pants time there before being outplayed in the last twenty minutes.

How sh*t must the Boks be to lose to this depressing Wallaby line up?

Oh and Genia sustained a long term injury. Don't agree with Berrick Barnes being MoM, he was one of the main reasons the match was tight thanks to his aimless kicking. And it was a good night for penalties with no wind.

6 months for Genia, all to protect their sh*tter than sh*t FB. Anyway, that's 3 Australian captains injured. Next captain should be Beale. Even if he's been dropped.

ABs getting lucky. Well outplayed for so long but jebus the Boks were wasteful. Brilliant try from Habana there, though he did mishandle a couple of times which cost them a definite try.

Argies 16-6 Australia. Thirty to go ;D

Crockabies lose Quade Cooper. Curtley Beale, he's the one to get injured.

flip knows.    England took the All Blacks apart 38-21. Kicked the pens and didn't drop the ball like per usual.

So who are they and what did they do to the purple shirts?

Halfpenny looking in a bad way after a tackle attempt that led to the try.

    :woohoo

Brilliant performance by England, heartening to see that the side who lost to Australia and South Africa can come back to totally tear up the All Blacks..

Broke their record of 20 unbeaten tests.. not a nice way for their number 7 to depart for the time being..
