The always stay logged in should keep you logged in forever on that computer, unless you clear cookies on your browser, or run an app like ccleaner or something.

Basically the login cookie has an expiry time, so it expires after the period of time that you set it to on login.

Nothing im doing should, in theory effect it, and it shouldnt even vary from theme to theme. keep an eye on it, let me know if it goes away / fixes itself. :S

Oh sorry I figured it out. I think it was just that I cleared all my cookies from Velorooms last week to check something and that after that it meant that I was not logged in with the always stay logged in option. I have been logging in now, but without the always stay logged in option as I deleted that cookie. I have selected it now so it should work. Sorry about that :D

    Country Flags:

All country flags are added using * and then the two digit country code, ie. es (spain), uk (United Kingdom) etc (the one exception is USA)

A full list of country codes is available here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-2

Country flags will be added as they are needed so if you want to use one that doesnt exist, put the tag in the thread anyway as *xx whatever the code is, then either drop me a pm asking to add the flag, or just report the post with the reason as "please add (country) (country code) and I will do it.

    So far:

*dz *ar *au *be *br *bf *cm *cl *co *cu *cz *dk *er *et *fr *ga *de *it *ci *kz *ke *lu *mx *ma *nl *nz *no *pl *sk *es *ch *uk *usa *uz

*ca s'il vous plait. We don't have the oxygen intake abilities of the Kenyans, but we host more races than the Gabonians and we look fantastic in pink!

i have all the icons here on my computer, its just a matter of uploading one and adding the code. I will gradually add the country flags as needed so if people just use the * code anyway and then let me know and i will add it.

    same with teams

temporarily its just on the portal page while i try and work out why the hell the top of the forum isnt lining up with the side panels, and a couple of others bits im tinkering with. Im also having problems wiht guest permissions and the tablet theme which means the shoutbox is showing up everywhere for tablet guests :S weirdly.

    Graphical updates today:

on the whole the bulk of the icons throughout the forum are now png rather than gif.

    changes as follows:

    For all users:
Smileys updated to a more consistent look (these are still gif)
    All post icons now png
Most of the other icons around the forum are now png with the exception of bbcode icons

For users of VR2013 and Tablet themes
All BBCode (the icons for bold, left, right, img etc), have now been updated to png format and the button background removed

    New Feature: Alerts

Note: This is only relevant to people using the Velorooms 2013 theme (and if a few days the tablet theme).

This is one ive had laying around for a while that i didnt bother installing until the default theme was finished. Basically you can get automated alerts of key things based on your preferences and the alerts appear in a small icon to the top right of the screen as in the picture.

The things you can be alerted about:
    Personal Messages
New Topics (On boards you subscribe to)
New Replies (On topics you subscribe to)
    Quotes of your own posts
    New Buddies
    Thank You's
    New Comments on your Links

You can set what you want to be alerted about in your profile under "alerts"

When you subscribe to topics or sections you now have the option of email, email/alert or just alert.
( you can subscribe by the notify button on a topic, or when typing a message clicking attachments and other options and checking the alerts box)

When you first visit it will load up your latest 3 alerts. After that it will auto update.

If you have no alerts, or dont want any alerts, just leave the boxes unchecked in your profile.

The only alert turned on by default is personal messages.

you can also see more alerts for the current session in your profile

'Tis fine now, Dim, thanks. I don't think you need put an artificial box etc on the right side, that's all it took. Just bear it mind when you put the next background image up there. ;)

User profile screens have now been updated to be graphical, so by going to MY CONTROL PANEL (under profile) you now have graphical links to all the key bits like changing your theme etc, as well as having shortcuts to your bookmarks, drafts, and contact admin options. Will gradually add more options and tidy it up.

    Simpler for new users
