I heard Jos Buttler needs stitches for his split webbing, we'll have to tolerate  Ravi Belf *1.15 Bopara for some time in this series now.

I've lost confidence in the team and they could take a shellacking against England, who despite their batting gashness against spin take wickets regularly.

1st ODI, England win toss and bat.  Pakistan playing 4 spinners...  :o  Unless something dramatic has happened to England's batting since the tests, they're screwed

Haddin is officially vice of the ODI team I think (in Watson's absence at least). I hope they pick him and give him the armband, just for teh lulz.

Haddit is still VC. Wow. While he's at it, he should also keep and hit the ball.

I'd  like Warner to be captain but I think it will be Huss.

I'm sure you mean Ire Kenya. Sweet sh*t going on there. Unbelievable.

England's awfulness against spin is a Saffie and Elvish conspiracy- Trotts, KP, Belf and Morganna. Waits for impending England collapse against spin.

4 spinners and they bring Wahab Riaz into the attack. Come on Misbah, surely he knows that England can get out to Jonty Rhodes doing a spin bowler's impression (India would get out to Haddin bowling at 110+kph).

Why? why is the geriatric farker even in the OD team. He's barely got into test match form, mind you the same could be said of Hussey.

Chef 132*. Good innings by Craig Bedwetter.

Haddin might struggle to captain Oz as he's being rested (I think?) - hence Wade is playing.  My vote would go to Warner - read somewhere that he has been earmarked for limited overs captaincy in the future.

Quality from Cook, distinctly average at best from his batting colleagues.   >:(

Dancing- Haddit has been dropped. He is in the test match plans though as he is rested for a Shield match.

Zamzam- flat, super flat pitch. England need Hafeez's wicket to fall quickly.

I heard on another forum a pretty sage comment. It was an innings which will paper over England's OD cracks, only 22 boundaries all innings and only 8 without Chef.

If cricket betting were legal in India, I would have bet under 250 (in an over/under bet) after Bopara's wicket.

Indeed, take away Cook's ton and England produced another fairly poor batting performance.  However, can't argue with a run-a-ball hundred.  The big hits have got to come from the likes of Pietersen, Morgan, Kieswetter etc.  The only problem with that is that the first two are woefully out of form, and Kieswetter looks out of place coming in in the middle order.  His off-side orientated game is best suited to the opening power play overs.  A more 'complete' player, like Buttler looks a better fit.  However, I'm not sure how good Bairstow and Buttler are at keeping - although both can do it, neither do it first choice for their counties.

Buttler will do better as a batsman and Morganna better up his game but I didn't like his keeping when he did for Somerset when bedwetter was playing for England. Johnny Bairstow needs to play spin properly, he's quite useless against the spinners and so too is Jimmykins Taylor. Some way to go for them.

Queensland need to get rid of Ryan Broad from the OD team. He's done diddly squat in this format.

    He's hardly the only culprit.

How was Lynn running himself out :D

Only turned the TV back on again to see Tasmania doing it very easy, which isn't usually the case for anything over 250 in this competition.

That was mental. So too was Cowan's, he went for a run when the ball was under Dunk's foot.:D

Only 8 overs for McDermott was a bit baffling. Broad has scored 160 runs in 8 innings this season and one of them was a score of 90 odd. Been a bit useless opening.

If the ECB had a semblance of actual sense they'd be stopping this rather than saying internet streams are the bane of cricket. Can't blame the sh!te BCCI for this. That said, I don't think they'd have allowed him to go if he'd been scoring hundreds on a regular basis.
