Aye, I was. It wasn't really a fully serious point though. He's still shoite against left arm spin, but at least he didn't get out lbw or bowled early in the last two matches.

I think Lanka won't be as big a challenge as Pakistan, they have one good spinner and scant backup. Ajmal, Rehman and Hafeez should be a tougher proposition than Herath and possibly Randiv or Seekuge Prasanna, and most pitches in Lanka are normally much flatter than what we saw in Dubai.

You may not have been serious but can only assume Flower said the below with a straight face

A fire was lit under India's arse. It wasn't just a spark, it was a flame, a roaring flame. Slinga got burnein the process.

    Stat from yesterday's match
India's successful 321 in 36 and a bit overs was the second fastest successful chase in (terms of RPO) of over 300 in meaningless ODIs. The fastest was the 438, India could have surpassed that with Dhoni and Coaly going the way they were.

Slinga had the most expensive figures for a bowler who bowled at least 5 overs in a meaningless ODI. 7.4 overs for 96 runs. It all looked so rosy when Tendulkar got out. It is also the second most expensive figures for a player who conceded 60 runs.

Rohit Sharma, irate: You're asking me, what I am; what are you, sisterf*cker? You come around to behave like a f*ckhead.....Telling me (unclear)....who the f*ck are you?

Allegedly drunk, dickhead, fan: I'm no one.

    Rohit Sharma, incensed:Then keep shut....

Allegedly drunk, dickhead, fan: Difference is, difference is (Unclear, seems to slur his words)

Rohit Sharma, accusatory: You're drunk, aren't you, coming around, speaking $hit

Probably another fan: No, no, he's drunk, let it go....

Same drunk dickhead, or maybe another fan: I'm saying apologize, apologize..

Rohit Sharma, gunslinger: I'm going to come there and whack you with the bat..

Praveen having decided he's waited long enough, makes this contribution We'll break your ar$se, ar$ehole....

Not sure who, drunk fan? Oi! You...

Praveen, ramps it up Mother's d!ck! (close enough to motherf*cker)

Not sure who, several voices Let it go, let it go....

Rohit Sharma, reasonable: Let it go? You guys don't understand, you're Indians....

    Not sure who That's right.........

Not sure who, some fan You fellows are our guests....

Rohit Sharma, bitter:Don't let us practice or play in peace....

Not sure who, several voices Muttering, etc

Praveen, ramps it up again Come here I'll tell you, your mother's c*nt!

Rohit Sharma, apathetic Let it go (turns and plays a forward defensive stroke)

Don't mess with Praveen or a stump in the arsehole beckons. :)

Warner destroying Sri Lanka in the final. Be thankful Ram imagine what he would have done against the already depressed Indian attack.

Flinga's on fire. Brilliant recent form, against India and now today. Mashrafe Mortaza would score a century against India, let alone reinventer Warner.

Tasmania beat them and one of Queensland or Victoria win then there will be no final for them at all.

Vettori's batting never ceases to amaze. To think that he was a lousy plodding duck when he started.

Some quality names in the Shield today. Foxsports are streaming all the matches, by the way. SA always plunge to new depths, 6/105. Good for Queensland.

Philander really does seem like  the real deal - admittedly he's not been to the sub continent yet which is where fast bowlers have to prove themselves imho, but 4 more wickets is not too shabby!

Australia reach 231ao.  Excellent opportunity for Sri Lanka to take the win and the series.

Finally, Dravid looks set to announce his retirement; http://www.espncricinfo.com/india/content/current/story/556624.html
If he does, then I would just say that he has been a truly phenomenal cricketer throughout his career, a wonderful batsman - saw him at Lord's last summer - and  hasn't always received the recognition that I felt he deserved, having been overshadowed by Tendulkar.  It's right however that he is making the decision, not being unceremoniously axed.

Just to add on Philander, he has the best FC average among bowlers all around the world in the last five years.

Which is a real shame. From a record-breaking game against NSW to now this... If we made it to the final WA would have deserved to be there and be favourite but choking before they even manage to play? /fail

Looks like they suffered from decision to drop Ponting from ODI's as difference between the teams has been massive partnership between Ponting and Cowan

Interesting read.  Imho, nice to see an 'established' player looking to give back to a nation that has no significant cricket record.  Best of luck to him and to PNG as well.

Official live stream for the ICC qualifiers and thank fark it's free. Namibia USA being streamed now, Louis van der Westuizen seems a gun player for Namibia. USA, on the other hand, are quite frankly beyond sh*te.

England's first tour match started earlier today. Finn playing there.

Lousy final over and Namibia's score is 4/177, should be well enough.

Italia 7/100 in their 20 overs against Eire after a last ball six. Michael Diva Di Venuto scored an electrifying 23 in 44 balls.

Hong Kong 8/81 in 20 overs against Canada, they may need Dermot Reeve to play for them, that's how sh*t they are.
