Yes - probably team Sky pr Ms Millar dictated to Lizzie.  The BBC don't re-edit stories willy nilly so I reckon Fran was on the phone there as well. 

Cycling Weekly did not put up the story. Not going to bring anything down on the head of their "chosen" girl.  Didn't see Nicole thanking them either !

    OK so I have been casting around since writing in the Emma Pooley thread.  This links there to the treatment Pooley and Cooke had in Perth but rather than post it there, this bit is about Cooke so I have put it here.  It isn't my work so I am first posting the link to cyclingnews
