Of course, if this turns out someday to be the industry standard integrated handlebar-computer-braking solution then I'll eat my kevlar-reinforced aerodynamic hat.

    So he posts this:

    https://twitter.com/Cyclocosm/status/480036063755665408

So I ride over there. No Cosmo to be found.  :slow

His cloaking device still in full effect.

Can anyone find his name here?

I give in.  It (TWIB 53) is obviously a parody, but if not simply of the news broadcast genre in general, what specifically is it a parody of?

It's some of his best work, in my opinion. I think it's a parody of cycling coverage in general (huge acceleration!) and of US cable TV coverage in specific.

Won't get those four minutes back ... ;)

Cosmo's Strade Bianchi highlights video got taken down by a copyright claim
Any idea who pushed the claim?
If RCS, have other videos of RCS races that he's done (Giro? MSR?) been taken down by copyright claims before?

Not sure about the claim but he had loads of problems with Giro footage last year, and a lot of his videos on YouTube are now set to private.

That Liege 14 video is worth watching for all the Bono / U2 jokes...

Also looking back at that I'm surprised Sagan didn't try and jump off the front when he had the chance at 1.8k to go.

    Paris-Roubaix is up!  :cool

As always, some very entertaining observations, and a brilliant deconstruction of the final sprint.

and maybe his last one for awhile

I believe he said that he'll still be doing race reviews, just not as timely as he would like them to be.

I'm as big a fan of Cosmo's work as anyone, and have followed him since the earliest days, but it seems he lost the plot a bit on this Exit episode. I realize that he's frustrated with the state of things, but I'm honestly not clear on just what it is he's trying to convey to his followers in this one.

And to follow up on a discussion earlier in this thread, I did finally get to meet up with Cosmo before he moved from New England to Colorado. Given his style on camera, I had expected him to be a bit edgy and perhaps even sarcastic, but in real life I found him to be quite humble and unassuming—almost disarmingly so. Too bad I waited until the last minute to make that encounter happen. In all honesty though, I suspect I scared him off a bit (which is part of the reason why I never posted the pic of the two of us; the other being that I hated the pic of myself).

Boring race makes for mostly boring recap.

I don't quite understand Cosmo's lack of introduction to the most recent round of videos. It feels as if they all begin mid-thought/mid-sentence, and if you haven't read the title, you've no idea what you're watching for the first few moments. Odd.
