Gerrans
Bewley
Howson
Verona
Juul Jenson
Cort maybe

I'd rather Cort went to the Vuelta.

  • Of course, if this turns out someday to be the industry standard integrated handlebar-computer-braking solution then I'll eat my kevlar-reinforced aerodynamic hat.

Pretty sure Cort will want to go to the WCs this year, so Vuelta would be ideal prep.

Long time since this thread got a bump but Stephens leaving is interesting news indeed.

    http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/neil-stephens-quits-mitchelton-scott-after-eight-years-as-directeur-sportif/

Does seem like a fork in the road at #mitchelton.

Hindsight and all that but Stephens hasn't been as visible in 2018 and one wonders what decided him to move on, since he doesn't seem to have been looking for a timeout from the sport. Perhaps he feels at odds with the increasing GT GC focus or else he's not part of the Yates in-crowd or he feels marginalised by other DSs. Is he too "old school" or is he an increasingly unwelcome conscience? Or has he just got a better offer already?

    What does everyone else think?
