Mudguards
« on: February 13, 2012, 11:22 »
Anyone able to give me some ideas for a basic clip on set of mudguards for a road bike?

Riding a Focus Variado 2010 and could do with getting a basic cheap set that easily clips on and off that will get me through the damp and rainy days.

Cheers.

These are what I used in the UK where the club required guards on group rides (man there is a lot of mud on the roads there...)

Anyway, they are good, light, and they are easy to put on onto pretty much any seat-stay and fork.

Thanks for the advice, picked up a set of SKS Race Blades today.

Fitted them pretty quickly and easily so the bike's ready for commuting and club runs if the weather turns. Also you can never tell what the British weather will throw at you and when it'll do it so a sound investment to avoid becomming a member of the Brown Streak Club  8)
