I just noticed you were banned on the other place. Reason enough for me to make the jump. Now I have to figure out a new forum. This might be my 4th or 5th cycling forum :sigh:

and, oh yeah, this is Cobblestones.

Welcome, election topic friend! ;)

As long as you're not the German of annoyingly similar name.

    Barrus,

Past that, I am happy I have a place to post.  The secret hidden home to my favorite topic is not available yet, but in 9 more posts, it will.  Good to see so many familiar people here.  Good also to see you as a mod again.

Tff, always a pleasure to see you on the forum. Yeah, my moderating role here has put me in my old comfortable position and I believe on this place it will be a better fit for myself.
Yes, we can post boobies, but Barrus would like us to avoid pink bits. I have not yet tested the limits of tolerance, but I'm sure I can count on your help in that regard. :P
My tolerance is quite lage, but the picture itself won't remain up  ;)

Good to see some of the old crew here. I've been a bit of a ghost at CN in the past several months, more of a lurker maybe, but there should be some good conversation here as we populate the place (and when Het Volk arrives of course).

Posting to say hello.  Not a CN poster (I did eventually register but never got round to that whole posting thing), more a semi-casual lurker so I'm probably not familiar to anyone here. Awkward new kid ahoy  :)

Briefest of summaries: I first go into watching cycling when I was a kid. Tour de France only on terrestrial tv with Gary Imlach and Phil and Paul.  Fun summer times.  There was a big break (called university) when I only kept in touch a little until in the past five years or so I started following the sport properly again.
I'm not the most knowledgeable about the sport but I'm enthusiastic and I love it.  I can often be found on twitter being more than a little dry and sarcastic.  Or just often found on twitter. Be(e)ing  :P

(please excuse the over-use of emoticons, first posts are always tricky...)

    Live in western Canada.

Started racing bikes - 40 years ago.  don't do it any longer but the nuttiness went on long enough.

Work in corporate restructurings / debt workouts / insolvencies / etc.

Have too many bikes collected over the years.  Now i ride for fun mostly in BC, Alberta, California and Arizona.  Started MTB'ing ( again) last year.

Same username on CN, different on on RBR for many years but got off there.

    Barrus,
No, this is TFF.  Susan banned me because I referred to TITTIES in a thread (which only repeated a post in the same thread that was posted on the 13th of Jan.)  She had been itching to ban me, so as she did last time, she invented a reason.  She has the power there, so that is her right.  It is however a reminder of why things went downhill at DPF.

Past that, I am happy I have a place to post.  The secret hidden home to my favorite topic is not available yet, but in 9 more posts, it will.  Good to see so many familiar people here.  Good also to see you as a mod again.

well thats not fair considering I had titties in my post multipletimes :D

  • Despite the self-serving data benders and associated propaganda to the contrary, I am led to believe that there are pockets of organised, highly sophisticated dopers, even within 'new age' cycling teams. Personally, I don't accept that the 'dark era' has ended, it has just morphed into a new guise.

    @hitch

the greatness of the mafioso wasn't the running gag 'mollema/gesink/etc' are gonna win everything.

Our strength came when we argued and took down the doubters in numbers. There was a time at CN we mafioso members would argue and debate as a group. It was difficult for the individuals to debate against a group of stubborn 'thugs'.

    t'was a beautiful thing.

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much

That being said Wilco will win everything ;)

I think you would increase the number 10x if you went to CN and posted that we have real titties over here.  I'm the only person who gets banned for writing "TITTIES" so you guys are all clear.

To get a month ban for posting titties is the equivalent of getting life imprisonment for parking on a yellow line.

I do need an avatar though, maybe I should get my first one through a bet...

now that you've all gotten to say the word 'titties' several times do you think that you can move over to the Bob thread and say it to your heart's content?  ;)

Like, if some of us female cyclists just kept screaming "penis penis penis!' in all of the threads about gear, racing, welcome to the forum etc ...it would get old .....I mean jeez . There's a place for everything  and I would hate to see a few females get scared away from the nice new forum.
