Free riding
« on: July 27, 2013, 17:38 »
I must confess to a passing interest in free riding.  Love the bike handling and care free spirit of these guy's and gals?  Here's a video of a free rider doing his stuff on a road bike :wut

  Great stuff...

Impressive skills... And to imagine we are all in awe when Sagan does one successful wheelie on Alpe d'Huez ;)

Love his skills, love his spirit, and it's great to see someone who doesn't limit those moves to trials bikes. But still, I cringed all the way through the video wondering what he on earth he was doing to that frame and those wheels. Whatever though, he knows what he's doing and he obviously wants to do it. Really liked the wall of death part, great idea. But if a couple of women sprayed WD40 directly onto my Dogma frame, well now that would cause some serious issues in our relationship.

I was thinking how annoying it must have been to have to keep changing the saddle height between tricks and straight riding scenes.

I don't think that was done in one take.  I wonder if they had nets to catch him should he have lost balance on the bridge.  They weren't visible.
