Hi everyone! I am a cycling, basketball and american football fan and so far this year I had a lot of success betting on NBA and NFL so I decided to use some of my winning betting on cycling! I wanna stay disciplined so I will post my pays and maybe some reasoning here. I hope you will enjoy it!

    Tour of Dubai:

In my opinion this race will be won by a sprinter once against and my big favorite is Mark Cavendish. Hatta should be too hard for Kittel and even if he dominates the other stages he will lost too much time there. Some other contenders could be either sprinters or puncheurs:

    Sprinters

Viviani - already has some race days in his legs /great spreed /plans to do Milano San Remo this year so his climbing should be decent/ good train with Fenn and Swift

Nizzolo - good form in TdU/ good train with Stuyven ,Van Poppel , Coledan and maybe even Cancellara / second places still gives you bonus seconds

Lobato - bad form in TdU but he should be really strong on Hatta

Other guys like Modolo, Palini, Guardini or Kolar are either not fast enough, either too weak on steep climbs. Also worth to mention Modolo lost Richeze and this is huge in my opinion.

    Puncheurs:

Gilbert, Cancellara, Ponzi, Visconti, Costa - Among all this guys the only one I can see with a chance is Fabian, His form was amazing in Mallorca and I can't wait to see him on Hatta. Gilbert might have a chance too but he was here last year and he did not impressed. I'm also curious to see how strong Ponzi will be at his new team CCC.

So my bets for this race will be:

    Cavendish - 20 $ to win 80$

    Cancellara - 5 $ to win 70 $

    Viviani - 2 $ to win 160 $ (at Unibet)

For stage 1 I like Kittel to show his power and win the stage. After all he won all the 3 stages in 2014! I also like Viviani here because he should be in better form than the rest of the riders considering he will be at the Track Worlds...

Kittel to win stage 1 - 20 to win 35

    Viviani Stage 1 - 10 to win 50

I also like Haig and Kennaugh to win Herald and I have 5 $ on both at 10 odds.

I will also play some H2H:
    GC:

Cancellara over Swift 20 to win 11

Gilbert over Lobato 10 to win 13

    STAGE 1:

Palini over Modolo - 10 to win 11

Nizzolo over Lobato 20 to win 10

    Strade Bianche

    Vakoc 151ew with PP

I don't think I need to tell you what sort form he's in currently - been bossing it in the hills of France. Lot of talent in the team, so he won't be the leader, but I hope he gets to ride for himself.

Been in the same races as Vakoc with the same sort of form - not as good a sprint, but as good in the hills . Won't have the same team issue as the Etixx man (which has it pluses and minuses).

Anyway, Brambilla is also good @ 251. Also got Maciej @ 201. I think Sagan and Ulissi best value of the favs.

Westra said months ago that he is going for gc in Paris Nice again, even was on altitude over the past weeks. Not that I really believe that he is going to take the win, but at 100-1 it's worth a shot - even more so at 350-1, if you can use victor chandler.

Felline is someone I like for today, Top 3 @8 looks decent to me

Happy with those I guess... Kinda meh I didn't take Zakarin for the stage as I already have him for GC and didn't want to push my fortune (I guess I had it the wrong way round), hope he holds third.

re: T-A, it seems to make a lot of sense to back puncheurs/TTers overall in the three early WT races. I half thought about Sagan but the MTF was just too long.

    Anyway

yeah, Westra had a mechanical and was riding on a bike that apparently wasn't his size (he said something about having knee pain from it afterwards at least). But well, i guess it didn't make much of a difference anyway, given the way the stage unfolded

well, unlucky with Bakelants indeed though - but if you were wondering how Moreno could lose out in a sprint against Berhane... I had him for Top 3 of course, at 26 :yum

The horse she's on is probably better at 2 1/2 miles than 3 1/4 but at 20/1 I thought it was worth a go.

    Viviani 101ew
    Howard 401ew
    Jans 501ew

    All with PP.

    Okay. It's a win/win unless scenario 3 happens.

Scenario 1 - Wind and rain gives us groups all over the place and it's an exciting race.

Scenario 2 - Weather isn't as bad as the forecast suggests and we have a sprint. Excitement from possible winning bets.

Would also have been having a bet on Luke Rowe but given he's a best price of 25/1 I won't be. I was hoping for something more like 50/1 or 66/1 but I guess his result at Flanders has led the UK books to shorten him up for Roubaix.

yeah, probably not, but who knows. There are lots of contenders with a chance, on a good day, and if they get a bit more leeway than expected, and I think Turgot is one of those. Chavanel as well maybe, for example - he has never had much luck in Paris Roubaix, but at 250-1...

Chava said he would consider to join the early breakaway though, not sure if that's a good sign.

There is a lot to be said about having a several years experience under your belt and a few top20/30s. You get in the break and hope things fall apart behind, or you turn up with much improved form while still being under the radar.

    So... Petit, Chavanel, Turgot, Morkov.

Looks like nasty weather tomorrow. Will probably feel subzero in the very bitter, strong wind. I reckon if some teams (especially those without sprinters) are minded, it could break up. A day for the hard men etc.
