the perfect team (according to my calculations):

NAME PRICE STAGES G.C. PT. CLASS. MT. CLASS. TOTAL
#radioshack   HORNER Chris      253            311      500      40      40            891
#saxotinkoff   ROCHE Nicolas      442            171      240      15      3            429
#katusha   MORENO Daniel      949            263      135      10                  408
#ag2r   POZZOVIVO Domenico      616            58      215                        273
#netappendura   KÖNIG Leopold      222            90      150                        240
#fdj   PINOT Thibaut      408            28      190                        218
#greenedge   MATTHEWS Michael      265            172      15      2                  189
#argos   BARGUIL Warren      241            145      28                        173
#astana   BRAJKOVIC Janez      95            37      52                        89
         3491                                          2910

so having Horner was the key to win, but as you can see, even a team without him and/or Nibali could have been the winning one. I would never have taken Moreno for example, but Roche, Pozzovivo, König, Pinot, Matthews, Barguil and Brajkovic would have scored 1611 alone, and that doesn't sound like an extremely unlikely combination

You taking bling is very unlikely  ;)

Well done hitch

Thanks armchair, great job as usual n :cool

Top 10 and in combined not bad for me

  • Of course, if this turns out someday to be the industry standard integrated handlebar-computer-braking solution then I'll eat my kevlar-reinforced aerodynamic hat.
