Request for a feature section or sort of
« on: August 28, 2013, 10:13 »
Yesterday I read Echoes' very good text about Raymond Pulidor.  I hope in the future with so many well-versed members writing in the forums that more contribute with longer texts.

But I found the text a little bit difficult to read with the standard forum margins. They were little bit too wide for my eyes -- perhaps it is a sign of age I don't know  :o_o  I wonder if it's possible to have a section that is more adapted to longer texts ie. margins that are more narrow.  I've read somewhere that margins should be around 55-70 characters wide in order to fit the  movement of the eyes properly.

Thanks!

    You know you could just change your window to not fill the whole of your screen and that will happen automatically right?

    I'm using firefox. And yes I could probably minimize my window. I'm really showing of my computer skills here  :D My thought or suggestion really is to have a proper feature section too with a different layout compared to the forum threads. Echoes' excellent work are in the banner at the start page why don't go the whole way and create a feature section?

    I hope my thoughts are somewhat clear.   I'm writing this with 1%  battery left in my laptop and the blasted thing won't charge so I'm a little bit stressed.

    Consider following this article and adding the content of the file as:

    @-moz-document domain(velorooms.com) {
    #sp_main {
        max-width: 1200px;
    }
    }

    You may want to play around with the number in green.

    Just a tip, on threads like Echoes ones, just hit the "PRINT" option at either the bottom or top of the thread.
    Will re-render it all for printing, which is also very readable on screen.
