Thanks! Yeah that's a 130mm stem - I'm 182cm with long limbs. I'm not flexible enough to take out the top cap and just run a bearing cover anymore though :D

I should trim the steerer sometime soon but too lazy.

Same wheels as my Look bike at first glance: the 'shaved' Mavic Ksyrium Equipe or Elite (I forget which without going upstairs to look). Do you like them? I'm a big fan although sometimes I feel like they're too delicate for Flemish roads.

Don't ask how, nor why... BUT... I have agreed to ride as a sponsored Giant rider (Down L'Arri... no comments about the girth... think about it... Giant!) for the 2014 season... and will be riding the Propel SL0...  :cool Quite possibly the best bike I've ever ridden as a sponsored rider ffs... at age 45!

    :)

Close, they are the ksyrium SL's. I've had other Mavic wheels before and yes, they've felt flimsy but these have been good so far. They have bigger, more solid bladed spokes than the lower Ksyrium models as well.

The roads here in Perth are also generally very good, which helps

    I do like that jersey!

They have a couple of designs, one similar to the original Leopard Trek jersey, in blue and yellow, along with a black version of my one and a "death to the car" design too

Thanks everyone! Bike is pretty amazing... just got to make a few tweaks (longer cranks, wider bars, longer stem) and it's ready to roll... only hitch being: our 'Race Team' kit is black, white, and orange... ffs, this won't do with a black, blue and white bike...  :o
Also: No photos of me until after Lanzarote training week... gotta shift a few excess kgs and get a tan first!  ;)

My other half has finally gotten tired of trying to get off the shelf frames to fit her unusual body shape (looooong legs, short torso and arms) and decided to pull the trigger on a custom geometry carbon frame from Legend http://www.legend-bikes.com/LegendUK.aspx in Italy. Saw a demo frame on the weekend and I have to say that the finish and quality are astounding (then again, it should be for the price!)

So a new Legend 4.7 frame is on it's way over from Italy in 10-12 weeks! Will put up photos the second it arrives

Now I just need to convince her that I NEED a new Legend 9.5 with Record....  :lol

Well, after MUCH procrastination, debate, decision, backtracking, procrastination, calls to the vendor, procrastination, decision, backtracking, arguing over quotes, discussion and finally decision, the colours, graphics and build spec has been decided!

    Legend 4.7 custom geometry
Gun Metal Grey with light pink decals
Deda Carbon Bars (shallow drop), Stem and Seatpost
Campag Chorus with 50/34 172.5mm cranks and 12-28 cassette
    Look Keo 2 pedals

The best bit - we're off to Menaggio in 2 weeks and we've got an invite to this year's Legend launch  :cool

So we get to visit the factory and go for a ride with Mr Bertoletti himself. I'm not sure who's more excited  :D

Am struggling to know which bike to go with on our new time trial course.

    http://www.strava.com/routes/323836

Its technical and hilly and I haven't been using the TT bars for much of it.

Now I have the Super6 I want to give it a proper beasting... what do we think ?

Stinker of a start there, Jimble, but that probably makes it more fun. Get the Super 6 onto it. Psychological benefit!  :cool

As an unashamed Cannondale fan (good choice BTW) I have to agree with L'arri and say set the Super 6 onto it. Great bike, launches like a rocket compared to your old Bianchi :)
