Agreed, hard to look past Alonso when talking about talent as a driver solely..
He constantly has outperformed his team mates and that is enough for me to mark him out as being a cut above the rest.

So would like him to win as would show it is not all about the car, as opposed to Vettel ::)

Obviously going for Hamilton today, but he just seems to always be a bit too erratic..

Vettel up to 20th,

And Hamilton about to be passed by Raikkonen :fp
And Alonso passes Webber..

Vettel front wing not having the best of days..
and Sebastien is not going in, pretty risky, yet he has little to lose..

Over two disciplines of motorsport through the weekend on this tracck, there have been zero laps of excitement except Vettel's misfortunes.

Quite a few fights going on for positions at the mo, though.

Aye, but that's a bit like saying entering a full stadium will be a bit of a rush. Safety car induced, imo.

V8s are normally good and used to be better in the pre 2 manufacturer era. Nissan and Mercedes' arrival will hopefully change that. This track though is utterly hopeless for racing.
