yellow flags..as F1 generally is very strict in enforcing it's rules he should have got a penalty

What McNish says about Kobayashi going to the pits does not make any sense by the way

The vid also not loading on laptop, my wifi being dodgy. So yellow flags, not lights. Hmm, wonder what's gonna ensue.

What did he say about Kobayashi... and Kob's got no ride for next year, hey?

Kobayashi went to the pits after he was overtaken by Vettel and McNish said, that it would be difficult to punish Vettel as Kobayashi went to the pits and thefore Vettel was not even given the opportunity to acknowledge to himself that he made a error (and let Kobayashi pass again). But I don't think that he has a point here - sometimes drivers give back their place if they gained it for cutting a corner and so on, but in my view it's different in this case as it's not about getting a penalty for having gained a place unlawfully but for being a possible danger for everyone else.

But as far as I can see all the discussion at the moment are about Vettel's move on Vergne in lap 4 (which was under green flag - from my point of view). I don't know what happened to the Kobayashi incident

...and yeah, I think Kobayashi will come short for next year

Edit: I did read another article and apparantly the lights were actually yellow/red-striped, and therefor his move on Kobayashi was okay

PS I have to say I hate when this happens - it's just not the same as when somebody wins on the day - if something comes of it, and Alonso gets it in the end, good for him, but I just find it so blah blah blegh.

Agreed, even if it is overturned - and I far prefer Alonso to Vettel, it doesn't feel 'right' if you know what I mean.

I know exactly what you mean. Though I guess if you asked Alo who worked so hard all year he wouldn't agree.. but we're fans, not drivers, and this is our perspective. I am still not enamoured of Ferrari though (never have been, McLaren all the way..) but I respect Alo, he has given the most exciting moves all year, despite a hamstrung machine #Respect

Grosjean is quick, he just lacks consistency so far. I think he deserves to stay in F1 at least for another year, if he doesn't deliver he needs to go. But for the moment, way better choice than Senna of course

Yeah his speed is super exciting. I know crashes are part of the sport, but I distrust him for the same reason I distrust Maldonado.. I dislike the way he kept crashing out & taking some main contenders with him, imagine if Alonso had not been taken out that time..

Yes, poor Bruno - and like Massa I really wanted him to do well - really happy about how Massa turned things around towards the end of the season. Not sure of the facts or if it is indeed true, but heard somewhere that Massa is physically 100% fine & recovered, which implies that his issues were psychological - or perhaps his car was just sh*te??

    News from the BBC:

'Suzi Perry has been named as the new presenter for the BBC's Formula 1 coverage, taking over from Jake Humphrey.

Perry is a former presenter of the BBC's MotoGP coverage and has also hosted The Gadget Show on Channel 5.

Ben Gallop, BBC Head of F1, said: "We're delighted to welcome Suzi to the team. She'll bring real energy and years of experience to one of the biggest jobs in sports broadcasting. Her presenting ability, coupled with her love and knowledge of motorsport, make her an excellent addition to our line-up. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Jake Humphrey for his enormous contribution to the coverage over the last four years and we all wish him the best for the future."

The BBC also confirms that it will show the following Grands Prix live on television in 2013:

    China: 14 April
    Spain: 12 May
    Canada: 9 June
    Great Britain: 30 June
    TBA*: 21 July
    Belgium: 25 August
    Italy: 8 September
    Japan: 13 October
    India: 27 October
    Brazil: 24 November

In addition to those races live on TV, there will be extended highlights coverage of the remaining ten races. All 20 races will be live on BBC Radio 5 live or 5 live sports extra.'
