    This was THE mega hit of my early musical awareness. We spent months chanting "duke, duke, duke of earl' to see how low we could go in the halls between classes in junior high. I was already clued in on the Beatles because I'd been in Europe when they broke, and because I was able to listen to Wonderful Radio Luxembourg, 208m medium wave, on my first little transistor radio, under the sheets, at night. ;D

    I haven't actually, I've heard his music though. It is the norm for Half man half biscuit to sing about famous personalities and institutions. They've got a gibberish song on Fred Titmus and a Dukla Praha song as well.
