Only 5-0 against the African champions, not half bad. Top effort by Zambia. Hope you had a good one Dave.

Enjoyed the match Byop? A goal on his return and a goal in his final match. Decent effort.

Absolutely, come on Apoel. ;) However, I expect Barca to be at full strength tonight and to put their recent disappointing league results behind them. I expect Bayer to get hammered.

Sadly, my match of the day, the top of the table clash between West Ham and Southampton, will only be available on web radio. :(

Yea..leverkusen would probably get hammered...but just rooting for them to play like they have never played before to make it a great spectacle

Damn, so annoying...the commentators repeatedly said that it was the most exciting game they'd seen this season, but there was not a stream anywhere for West Ham vs Southampton, so all I had was radio. Looking forward to Archie's take. FT 1-1 after we again played most of the game with 10 men.

Try watching Barca on fast foward. ;D

I HATE football, it's split my family for years over Rangers and Celtic and all the Celtic fans are now gloating like mad. Wonder if any of them have realised that Celtic need Rangers and vice versa...without each other, they have nothing!

Not great to only get a draw against 10 men, but if at the start of the game you offered a point away to West Ham would have taken you hand off grabbing it. if teams at the top win their games in hand only 3 points between 2nd and 8th.

could go from guaranteed promotion to out of the playoffs in one week.

Oh well, played 2 different strategies in 2 halves and neither worked. As to be expected I suppose. Nfi how Castro got a yellow for being bumped out of the way, stupid Scot.

FAO (tav) my young friend from Zwijndrecht - you can't come and wind me up tonight because, like every other Ajax fan, I know what's coming. :(

I think we would all be reasonably happy with, say, a 0-3. Beyond that it gets embarrassing, though such a result is also entirely possible, depending on how serious ManU will take the game. There were already 'scuffles' in town yesterday, let's hope it's staying quiet pre-match i.e right now.

Guidetti scores 1-0 and then takes his shirt off when has a yellow card already...

Probably suspended for the match vs PSV... The face of Koeman was priceless.

You're back on top after a good win today, we're away to Blackpool on Tuesday, when we will all be wondering if they can manage to get through a whole game with 11 men. ::)

It made me cry from laughter at the time, I instantly knew it when he even touched his shirt.. Oh well, it stops the hype for now atleast, lets see when he scores a hattrick again, everyone in the Netherlands will have forgotten this. :D

Barca 5-1 Valencia (Messi 4, Xavi)

I'm sure there will be highlight clips on the webz before I'm back here tomorrow. If you're a football fan, if you love beauty in the game, go and watch a clip as soon as you can find one. Messi was out of this world. Barca also hit the crossbar three times, the goalie made loads of saves, and Messi's teammates didn't have their shooting boots on. On another evening, the #3 of Spain could easily have lost by double figures. Honestly.

Never mind, found a short clip, commentary sounds like Russian.

No, they don't. They've had important injuries recently and have played a number of lesser games in the competition, the result being that Real Mad have the title wrapped up with a 10 point lead.

Elsewhere, it is widely thought that Villas-Boas will get axed if Chavski don't win at Napoli tonight, but more importantly, West Ham go to Blackpool knowing that a win would take them back to the top of the table. I expect a draw. ::)
