Sadly, the second half proved to be a big disappointment. I felt sure they'd equalize after they went in at 3-0. Still, a good effort.

Tomorrow night my Hammers play at the same time as Barca and can go back on top of the table with a win. I really hope that there might be a stream, but I doubt it.

very disappointed with the Saints. 87th minute deflected equaliser

reading still have to play us, you and birmingham away i think so we are still in with a shout but got to win all our home games

The last time we had a nailed on looking home win like against Watford tonight, it turned into a 0-0. A win takes us back to the top - and yes, Reading starting to look serious contenders.

You prediction skills are strong (well close). Looking at the run in i think Hammers have the easiest games on paper and Reading have some hard away games but they are definitely in form and Saints continue to strive to through it away

Have been through the misery of play offs before (lost to Derby on penalties one year and found ourselves in league one the next) and with our current form would not trust us to make it through that route

Leo Messi, first player ever to score five in a CL game. 8)

The boy is simply amazing. We're out of superlatives, and he's still 'only' 24. ::)

No surprise that West Ham fornicated up yet another opportunity to put some daylight between them and the chasers. At least I didn't have to watch (no stream).

Even though I had paid to get into a match on Tuesday I was glued to the Arsenal match though the window of the bar.

As it was at half time I think its disappointing they didn't pull it off.

    Agree Jimbot.

Not that anyone gives a fark, but Pune FC could go second or third with a win tonight and they have a home farking match when I'm not around.

A German Boro fan, no sh!t!?

We've got more fans of Championship teams here (two Hammers, Dinz for S'ton, you for Boro) than Prem team fans, how funny is that? Apart from the Guvnor, who's a Scouser, I can't think of anyone who has come out for another Prem team.

One of the few times this season, especially the latter half, that Leeds have had a clue of what they're doing.

Have to say, Reading on current form are looking good for automatic promotion.

India back to their sh*tness in the Challenge cup. Forgettable tournament.

The other championship contenders all seem determined to keep the saints top. Middlesbrough and Birmingham both putting themselves out of contention recently

am hoping this will put a big dent in readings momentum.

Better come out then. First watched Man U play the Arsenal in the 77 FA cup final. The brother got Arsenal to support and i got Man U. Being following their exploits since. It has been a pretty good last 2 decades :win but i think the end is near. When Ferguson retires it will go all down quite quickly. The Glazers are bleeding the club of any real money and not properly paying the debt back so it will make it very hard for the club to buy big and will they have the money to keep investing in the youth?

I'm not from Manchester either. :police:

    Beat me to it. ;D

Yeah, good results tonight from the perspective of the top two - especially good news that Reading's charge got stalled. Now all the Hammers have to do is make sure that they win the game in hand (away at Posh) and we'll be all square again apart from the GD in your favor.

I watched the Inter game tonight and recorded Bayern, which turned out to have been the right choice. Inter and OM were both pathetic, a shockingly poor game. Barca would have approached double figures against either of them and OM will certainly go out in the next round.

Really looking forward to Chavski-Napoli tomorrow, when all of neutral Europe will be four-square behind Napoli. :P

It' s shame and I'm not happy, but in all fairness Chavski deserve to go through (they'll lose in the next round anyway).

Napoli had some chances, didn't take them, and defended poorly at crucial moments. Drogba really wanted this, all credit to him, though he's no favorite of mine.
