Quote
Livorno midfielder Piermario Morosini has died after suffering cardiac arrest during his team's Serie B match at Pescara on Saturday. Morosini's death was confirmed by Dr Edoardo De Blasio, a cardiologist at Pescara's Santo Spirito hospital, who said: "unfortunately he was already dead when he arrived at hospital. He didn't regain consciousness."

I just came in here all excited...and didn't expect to see something like this. :(

    May he Rest In Peace.

I will now meekly report a fabulous 6-0 for the Hammers. No doubt, Archie will be here later with details.

Correct decision, even though it will play havoc with the remaining schedule.

Just got off the phone to a friend in Pescara. Apparently this is a massive story in Italy at the moment.

The player in question, Piermario Morosini of Livorno had suffered a lot of loss in his shot life, losing both parents recently and his brother committed suicide and to cap it off his sister has a terminal illness.  Very very sad.
