Nice week ending with Contador Tirrenos's GC, Swift and about 80p in mid week semi classics.
This one coming, with almost all the big guns at Catalunya we'll have a bunch of points from Criterium and Coppi and Bartali ending in someone's lap.

Update #11: Contadories conquer the Top 10

A solid week for Geraint Too Fast was enough to manifest his newly gained lead, but with Alberto Contador stepping up and winning Tirreno Adriatico, there is some new competition he has to face over the coming weeks. Pentacycle, the best placed team including COntador, managed to move up 15 places, but while 9-week-leader wizard of oz dropped from 3rd to 10th, it was still not enough to step up on the podium, as Steely Dan only just managed to defend his 2nd place - and the last podium spot was taken over by Yellow Knight - one of the very few to have Milano - Sanremo winner Alexander Kristoff in his team.

This week's top scorer is MCardinalR, scoring a massive amount of 867 points, mainly from Contador, Quintana and the big surprise of the weekend: Ben Swift. Not too surprisingly, all the remaining placed in the Top 5 were taken by teams that include Contador as well.

The same picture is to be seen in regard of this week's high movers: 4 out of 5 mentioned team include Contador, earning keithjamesmc a massive move of 58 places. The only mentioned team without Contador is Bicycle_Boy, one of the only three participants to have chosen Alexander Kristoff.

    This Week's Top Scorers

    1   MCardinalR   867
    2   Pentacycle   678
    3   keithjamesmc   675
    4   del1962   639
    5   minessa   636

    This Week's High Movers

    1   keithjamesmc   (+58)
    2   MCardinalR   (+54)
    2   Bicycle_Boy   (+54)
    4   minessa   (+53)
    5   gustienordic   (+49)

    Top 10 Overall

    1   (-)   Geraint Too Fast   3104
    2   (-)   SteelyDan   2816
    3   (+1)   Yellow Knight   2805
    4   (+15)   Pentacycle   2794
    5   (+9)   freshman   2764
    6   (+1)   lenissart   2693
    7   (-2)   Froome19   2673
    8   (+2)   Ruvu75   2659
    9   (+13)   Martin   2644
    10   (-7)   wizard_of_oz   2607

No doubt this is just an introduction of what will happen in the following weeks. With the Volta a Catalunya, the Criterium International, Coppi e Bartali and the great belgian classics, loads of points are on the table again to mix up the standings.

Could have been worse. Two "bad" weeks in a row, but only 26 spots dropped over the course of the fortnight.

First rider into profit as well - go go Sonny!

Now all I need is some of my slow starters to get weaving - I'm looking at you Konig and Dennis.

Swifty and Stybar's point in MSR saved my position in the Top 10 for another week. But Betancur will have to pull out another sterling performance this week, if I plan to keep all those vicious Contador fans at bay for much longer ;)

In your "fails", I share the likes of Moser, Aru, Schleck, Dombrowski and Kessiakoff. I'm not worried at all with  Aru and Dombrowski... Hopefully Dombrowski will get his "double 2013 score" in USA stage races, and Aru is only now starting his season. By Trentino (Aru's gonna win it) we'll be happy with him.

For me this was a very nice week, as I moved from 49th to 21st! :D

I was a bit reluctant to put Aru, Craddock, Dombrowski and Wellens in the fail category.... but then again they have scored zero points until now so I couldn't fit them into any other category :D

4 guys in Catalunya's Top 15 can make a great week! Conta has a shot for the win, and Hesjedal can make a very good position as the final stage around Montjuic fits him nicely.

Anyway for the smaller stage races:

    Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali

    DOMBROWSKI Joe
    KENNAUGH Peter
    SWIFT Ben
    BELLETTI Manuel

Swift and Belleti can win st 1, as Dombrowski and Kennaugh can go to a GC, dunno who's Sky leader here though. Kennaugh or Kyryenka?

    Critérium International

    BRAJKOVIč Janez
    SCHLECK Andy
    DI GRéGORIO Rémy

    Rémy FTW !!

737 points for me this week :betting

Rabottini 81 points, only 3 picks so yay
    Contador 214
    Kennaugh 147

    Stybar a bit disappointing

Damn if only Amador could have stayed ahead today at GW

Also - Contador now 752 vs Fat Cat Betancur 586 :D
300 points ahead of last year

476 points to go for Berto to break even, can he get that in Pais Vasco and Dauphiné? not sure
238 in each which is 2nd place in GC and a stage win or 1 2nd and 1 3rd place
Would be cool because Tour and Vuelta would be all profit :D :shh
