I'm really intrigued about the Evie to Boels transfer.  Mostly because Specialized and Lululemon are going too. The statement from Specialized was a bit strange, it speaks of stepping up it's commitment to Boels to full tech support (but not named sponsor) and I though Lululemon were leaving the sport altogether due to financial problems with the company. I didn't feel that the Specialized statement was entirely complimentary of Velociosport (who run Specialized Lululemon).

I'd love to know what's gone on there.  Or perhaps I'm reading too much into it. Either way Boels are going to be an amazing team next year..

Good news for everyone to have Rabobank a bit less strong.

Does anyone know whether Ferrand-Prevot has a contract for next year by the way? She could challenge Vos in a lot of major races if she continues to be as strong as this year.

I was a bit the same as well, but it might work out well

Becker and Vilmussen and not tne best team players according to reading, Linda more do I want to do this or not rather than a me , me me person.

But they will sign and have signed a real talent ( ELB) and be much more international and have manh more strings to the team.

I think Wiggle will come out of this trad season a much better team, and On the Drops/matrix will be the English womens team

Trott, Rowsell and Barker were post-Olympics glowhype signings who did next to zero on the road. As JSG says, now Wiggle will actually look like a team. Perhaps Gilmore is behind this traditional road focus. Shame to lose Becker though, although she was a latecomer anyway, as I recall, and may not have wanted to stay.

mmmm, downside for breakthrough of womens cycling (in UK) is that Wiggle were seen and somewhat positioned as the women.s Team Sky, and losing all but King from the brit dream team will reduce cut through for wiggle and womens cycling at ToB yr 2, the mini Ride London crit, etc.

I don't disagree re actual team performance, but perception is as important as reality in building interest in this instance.

U23 *eu European champion *nl Sabrina Stultiens joins #giant Giant-Alpecin for 2015.

Apparently the women's team will be called Giant-Alpecin as well, not Liv-Alpecin. Seeking confirmation on that.

    EDIT:
    https://twitter.com/petervdveen/status/521972140535721984
Seems the tweet doesn't embed ...
Team will be called Liv-Plantur, says Peter van der Veen from Cyclingfever.
Liv is Giant's women's brand, Plantur is Alpecin's women's brand. Makes sense.
