    I really wanted Stannard ... but couldnt fit him in my team.   Was going to give up and leave him out ... until JSG made a very timely suggestion of how I might move things to include him.

    And it pays off.     Thanks JSG    :cool    :cool    :cool    :cool

  • Of course, if this turns out someday to be the industry standard integrated handlebar-computer-braking solution then I'll eat my kevlar-reinforced aerodynamic hat.

    Colbrelli (2nd) gets 48 points for Bomboloni, Cunego gets 3rd for Hugo87 in Lugano: no other top 10 riders chosen. Minor placings not yet shown.

    Almeria:
    1= Del1962  80 for Sam Bennett, 1st
    1= Jakob747
    3  Oliveira  40 points Vigano, 3rd
    4= LightBing 7 pts for Coppel, 14th.
    4= Al Pacino

    KBK
    Trudgin's attempt to trump everyone else by assuming that Boonen will fail does not seem to be working.

    Places 11-20 still need to be factored in, but I thing DJSprtsch will have taken most points from Kuurne: he has Boonen (of course),    Vanmarcke, Vandenbergh and Van Keirsbulck   .

    Could have done with Trentin being a bit more selfish, a bit unlucky that there were was a big surge after he'd just done a turn.

    Provisionally, unique picks of Appolonio (Del1962) and Colbrelli (Bomboloni) seem to be the main gains of the day.

    13 teams that invested heavily in Gilbert begin to get at least some return.

    Almeria:
    1= Del1962  80 for Sam Bennett, 1st
    1= Jakob747
    3  Oliveira  40 points Vigano, 3rd
    4= LightBing 7 pts for Coppel, 14th.
    4= Al Pacino

    I wish i was that devious.......... i completely forgot Boonen... bang, gone out of my head... I submitted and JSG said, what about Boonen aaarrrggghghg

    Only top 10 finishers included in these provisional scores, but RoteLaterne and Blackbandit222 seem to be best of the day with Cancellara + Stybar (they are the only managers with two of the top ten), then a bunch with Cancellara, then Bomboloni with Colbrelli, then the rest of the Stybarites.

    And Trudgin, the only manager without Boonen, has Modolo as a unique pick, with exactly the same number of points won today as Boonen got in Kuurne.

    Nobody has selected winner or runner up: only one team chose Bozic, and the next highest finisher pertinent to the game is 8th placed Gatto.  No surprise then that Leadbelly, having both of those (plus, of course, Boonen) is runaway winner on the day.

    Gatto was also picked by Flo and Search: those in positions 4 to 8 are all the teams that feature Keukeleire.
