Maybe florry but tbh Contador seems to have been blown away but his new training that started in winter 2013 ;)

But I think there is much more in the book to look at a question,

why the constants ridicule of froome  and his book?  so maybe he invents history or lies alot so does alot of riders even the great Basso.

Froome feeding the bots that he was stronger than Contador in 2011 at Castilla y León.

Contador punctured twice on that MTF, the second time with 2k to go, and freewheeled to the finish together with Jesus. :fp Later in the race he won the time trial.

Of course the bots don't know this so Froome uses it as proof he was always good.

Funny thing is I have known for ages someone would bring that stage up at some point, didn't expect it to be Froome himself though :S :o

To be fair he was good/okay in the said stage.

Him and how may others???? He came in 13 seconds behind the first main group!

Then he got smacked by 38 seconds in the TT the next day. By Contador. Over 11kms. (FWIW Porte "only" put 37 seconds into him...)

But we don't see that anywhere ;)

     Not so.
Froome is feeding the UK market: Casual (July) cycling fans and readers of sporting biographies etc.
They exist in the tens of thousands, whereas the "mythical bots" of who whom you and certain Clinic members speak, exist in their tens. (at least, if that other place is any bench mark)

The folks who will buy this book, will do so as a pre Tour appetizer, or later for some Uncle's Christmas pressie, by which time it will be found in the bargain bin.
These folks would most likely think that Castilla y León are a Spanish double act.

I'm in the UK, get called silly Sky names in the Clinic and could have bought the book for 4 Euro, but did I? Nope.
Haven't read a word. Just not interested in some self-serving, money spinning exercise.
Kind of ironic, given how much time and effort the guy's detractors have spent pouring over various passages.
At least it serves a purpose, as a piece to be ridiculed by a small group of partisans who thrive on the negative, while awaiting new material at Le Tour.

If Froome was completely happy about the official version of history - rubbish peloton fodder turned into GT contender by the magic of praziquantel", he would not have put so effort into rewriting history in the autobio.

"The lady doth protest too much, methinks"

..and then when it turns out that the pair of them can't even get the reinvention of history correct...
