I didn't know Billie Joe Shaver passed away, that was a bit more than a month ago. Great songwriter !

    Now it's Charley Pride passing away from Covid-19 at age 86. I've always wondered if there were any other famous "African-American" country singers, like him.


    Here with Lloyd Green, one of the best pedal steel guitar player in my opinion (also worked with Don Williams, Johnny Cash, the Byrds and Paul McCartney, among others)

    Mary Chapin Carpenter - Down At The Twist And Shout ! Country music with a Cajun beat, all about Louisiana ! Very inspiring for me. I was about to say it was fairly recent but 1991, will shortly be 30 years ago now.  :lol

    I've always loved Alan Jackson's songs, especially with his nasal sounding voice. This one is underrated, in my opinion.
