Is it true that a Colnago has never been ridden to a TdF win?

I bet a few frames with others names on them were Colnagos!

Molteni used Colnago's during the 70's. Merckx won 3? TdF on frames designed specifically for him by Ernesto himself.

Nice video, love those riders, Motta, Sarroni, Baroncelli. Italian racing way back when, yeah!

Cheers, i thought I remembered reading that, but couldn't remember who.

I know lots of riders have ridden frames with names on them that are not of those who made them. Hampsten is another, didn't he win the Giro on a frame made by John Slawta of Land Shark even though Serotta made the Huffys.

Yes, IIRC he preferred the geometry of the Land Shark over the Serottas.

Cyfac is another brand that has been repainted, Cavendish and Pantani are just two riders who have used their frames with different branding.
