So if you see a performance or group of them from a rider and you think This guy is stepping up next year come list them

This is not the rumors thread that you read online and then post in the transfers thread but your own thoughts on who will make the move up and what team they come from

1st up 4 riders

  • Of course, if this turns out someday to be the industry standard integrated handlebar-computer-braking solution then I'll eat my kevlar-reinforced aerodynamic hat.

I think it's going to be a super tight market because of the business climate. Last year saw so many people forced into retirement or down to a lower level that there just won't be very many openings.

I don't think we'll see teams being very creative with their signings.

I'll predict the return to the World Tour of Steele Von Hoff  #nfto because he's a useful support rider and capable place getter and very low risk.

    Foliforov to Katusha

Got another year with RusVelo, but I'm sure they can come to an agreement. Maybe he's the rider who can make that step up and give some results for the RGCP (have they really developed any homegrown talents in 7+ years?)

Sonny Colbrelli. Could have gone this year but was loyal to Bardiani for 1 last year. He has been pretty sick this year, but is getting back on it. Altho where to, im not sure. The gf would want to stay in Italy. My hope is Bardiani go WT.

Marco Canalo & Dani Ratto should get back to WT ( maybe UHC to WT) all these licences lying around

OK, so I was being a little provocative.

But what will Wiggo do if he quits Sky next month after failing to win PR, rolls around with his Conti team for a while, then finds - during the track season - that he actually doesn't have what it takes to go to Rio. He won't be happy with Melton-Rutland Grand Prix or the Beaumont Trophy...
