What event is this anyway? Judging by the people that showed up my guess would be some sort of douchebag convention, but I am not quite sure that really is a thing, and not sure why it would happen at Princeton either.

Mods, I think you should move this thread to the General Discussion section. This is the music section, not the noise section.  ;)

N.O.R.E. reuse MC Shan's intro on 'The Bridge' on his verse on this little known track:

cool! also with the 45 King horns...

Marley's production work is the cornerstone of sample-based hip hop of course; Eric B Is President, Marley Marl Scratch, The Bridge, It's A Demo, Make The Music With Your Mouth Biz etc etc, everything after owes a lot to those songs.

Since this thread is mostly comedy anyway  :P here's one of those things that I love to hate.

The arrangement and production are actually brilliant.  :D

Oh man I never knew this thread was here. Get ready y'all, I have way too much to share.

Got a chance to see these guys together on tour - even got a pic with the drummer and a bunch of my friends, but we all looked beyond hideous and in any case it's on someone else's phone, so it's not going up here.

    Lovely summer jam

Vince describes himself as a writer first, rapper second. Writing was always within him, bu rapping was the way he could express that, so he taught himself to rap. I really think that comes out - vivid linguistic gymnastics over dark, brooding beats

Oozes swagger, honestly try walking down the road listening to this and not strut, I don't think you can
