Of course, if this turns out someday to be the industry standard integrated handlebar-computer-braking solution then I'll eat my kevlar-reinforced aerodynamic hat.

In regards to race radios and other “modern” technology, the UCI announced that starting in 2016, two-way race radios will be allowed in all men’s HC and category 1 events, as well as in the Women’s World Tour and any women’s category 1 or time trial event

via Ella although there has not been official UCI presser on this that I know of

Cyclist Anna Solovey: "My coach is lying, enjoys me and humiliates"

After the World Cup cycling Anna Solovey in anger: for "the worst person" and "cockroaches" instead of premiums

Ukrainian team carries FM on road cycle race, which took place in the US Richmond, one hit in the top 10. And not in elite competitions, and among riders under 23 years old - 9th place Marlena Zmorki race with separate start. A silver medalist last year's World Cup Anna Solovey its crown "butchering" drove 16 minutes.

"Go to start knowing that do not go up to the podium, - he told us Anna. - And the ten, too, it will be difficult to get. Consider six months I just trained. Trainer Bazin refused to work with me, saying that he has people better and stronger than me. But when the competition for those who are stronger than me, it was not close even fifth place, he quickly changed his opinion of me. Ran saying that everything will be fine, we will have time for the championship of the world. And I there was no desire to work with the traitor. Unfortunately, my coach - it is the worst person I know he always lies, enjoys me and humiliates. All these years I had to praise him. Because if at least one interviewer not remember for him, it was a terrible anger and resentment. He could have to call or pay attention to training. As if you do not have to ... building a new coach yet. I will be able to change the region and the coach only after the Games in Rio ".

After the group race in men (the best we Andrei Grivko, 46th), President of the Cycling Federation of Ukraine Oleksandr Bashenko outstanding athletes $ 3,500 bonus. "For what? It is not clear, - said Nightingale. - He was handed over $ 500, if the men in the group hold someone for 30 minutes in isolation. And so it has earned Andrew Khripta $ 3000, and then fell behind and went down. When I said, well, sorry , women do not have these privileges, you will get the full clarity of the answer: "Women have only cockroaches." Many asked about the money, but it is silent in the federation "

I could see them stopping sponsorship, or atleast the main sponsorship, for Giant-Alpecin/Liv-Plantur. Giant never really wanted to become main sponsor there, but did so because of a lack of other sponsors and they didn't want to let their only world tour team fall. But sponsoring a world tour team costs millions. And they said at the time that the Liv-Plantur team wasn't that important to them, that the Rabo team had priority. Considering they are just a secondary sponsor at Rabo, I could see them stay on there. It would be sponsorship suicide to step out in an olympic year from a team with atleast 4 potential olympic medallists (Van der Breggen/Ferrand-Prevot/Niewiadoma and Vos is she returns to her old level) in 3 disciplines (road/itt/mtb). Not many sponsors are allowed at the games, but bike sponsors are one of them.

I'm not sure if this has already been posted but this is an interview with Rochelle Gilmore.

    http://cyclingtips.com.au/2015/10/how-does-wiggle-honda-continue-to-grow-while-other-teams-struggle/

I'd be really interested in hearing other peoples thoughts on her (signing-all-the-riders) approach to Team Management...

I don't think it's a good thing, but if riders want to go there, and understand that the team is stacked, then that's how it is.

Will it be good for the future of the sport to have just two or three mega teams and very little else??

I have read it, pretty poor fluff piece inho, sure they had a great year in 2015, but time will tell how it goes, I wish they had of asked her about her step Dad and the influence (money?) he has provided re business and going forward.

Rochelle is doing from the outside a very good job, but I have a feeling that it might just get a bit ugly at some stage soon, sure she is great a promotion both of the team and self and she talks a great game. But that tweet from the cycling Gala really dropped my opinion of her.

As for the mega teams it is always going to happen especially as the costs rise for running teams
