It's their 2015 kits not 2016. For example if Saxo Bank ends their sponsorship with Tinkov the jersey will change for sure.

I suppose this counts... a fraction of a 2016 kit.

    https://twitter.com/franmillar/status/656026436252364800

And what have we learned... that Sky are continuing to have a predominantly black kit with riders' nicknames on the sleeve. At least they are putting rainbow bands on Kwiatkowski's cuffs, though.

So what are we expecting/hoping for from new sponsors?

Dimension Data's corporate colour seems to be leaf green, while Direct Energie's marketing features an amber/yellow circle on white.

Anyone fancy mocking up a kit prediction for either?

Movistar - perhaps as expected - make only minor adjustments to their kit for 2016. But it does appear to be a much bigger M.

Is the blue a bit, umm, blue-er, less of a dark navy blue?

And it looks as though there are white pockets creating an effectively halved back.

You might be right about the blue. It certainly doesn't look as dark as in recent years. They also have a little flag and Twitter handle on the neck...

Not sure I'm a fan of the white pockets on a first look. Roll on Tour Down Under so I can properly judge.

Valverde is Spanish champion? Who'd have thunk.

Personally, I have to say that I like it better than what he (and Rojas, Ventoso, Herrada & Izagirre) wore until now - at least there's some sort of thought process put into the design.
That said, it's of course still indescribably ill-fitting for a Spanish national champion. Especially one who is rather proud of his nationality (not on JJ Rojas levels, but certainly more than most of the Basques).

2/10 - but the compression socks make me dock 1 point again. So 1/10.

    Post Merge: November 11, 2015, 13:37
The regular #movistar jersey, however, I like.
It's still recognisably close to previous versions, but it also has something new. Not much, mind, just a little bit of change.

The white on the lower back is virtually insignificant as it will be covered by race numbers anyway - and it gives those bib numbers a neutral background. I like that.

They keep the (by now well-known) design, but tweak it just a little bit. It remains to be seen if the shorts will be altered as well - a light blue panel on the all-brown shorts would be absolutely horrible.
But the jersey itself is nice.

    #androni Androni Giocattoli-Sidermec drops the blue: :o

The jersey still follows the classical Team Savio 'design': Sponsor names and logos plastered all over the kit. But unlike previous years, the colour scheme that all these sponsor logos are drizzled onto is much more simple - only red and white.
While not particularly inventive, it'll be visible - and that's what counts. Plus, it will be easy to adapt this into Țvetcov's #champro jersey. :)

I didn't even think of that. :fp

However, the back of the #lotto jersey is all-red while the new #androni will probably look the same front and back. And they have red shorts instead of black ones.
You only really see the full front in a victory salute - and then you're normally not in doubt which team it is.

I think we can deal with two similar red-white jerseys; we've had about a dozen highly similar black jerseys this year! ;)

    A surprise - but a nice one, design-wise.

With the official[1] arrival of a new title sponsor, the team also adopts the Gazprom (light) blue. I wonder when they'll announce a partnership with Zenit St. Petersburg and present a Colnago bike & team kit to Vladimir Putin ... :D

The design is simple, but easy on the eye. Unlike the football club, they've opted for black shorts - fortunately, otherwise it would look very much like Astana. And if there's something Russian won't like, it's looking like Kazakhs! :lol

Not brilliant, but decent enough. Certainly won't be the worst kit of the year.

Gazprom are part of the finance package of the "Russian Global Cycling Project", so have been bankrolling Katusha and Itera as well, I suppose.
