    the Skydive project is dead I guess?! Zmorka returned to Italy as well. "They offered me so much money and so many promises," remembers Zmorka, "for this I chose to sign there and not with other teams that had contacted me, though, considering my results." All smoke and nothing roasted, unfortunately. The money does not arrive and the races count with the dropper. Up to the year-end liberation letter with which the Arab team unleashed all athletes. "Virtually all of them have disappeared," he says, "no one has ever been alive, and even to change team we have had to ask for the UCI's intervention."

    #skydive Marlen Zmorka --> #amore Amore & Vita - Selle SMP

    Full press release:

    Quote
    (gt)

    LOVE & LIFE - SELLE SMP - FONDRIEST: MARLEN ZMORKA ARRIVES

    Ukraine's strongest athlete discovered and launched by Olivano Locatelli arrives to strengthen the team after the "flop" of Dubai Skydive

    DAI KALSHNIKOV TO TWO WHEELS On the story of Marlen Zmorka you could really write a book. He fled two years ago from the Crimean war, as a clandestine. Alone, at night, with 20 ° below zero. First on foot in the snow and then on a rowing boat with his bicycle on his shoulder, to escape from the Philharmonic to hunt for Ukrainians, literally endangering life, risking being shot at all times by guerrillas like thousands of other fellow citizens. Run away from that terrible scenario with a pocket-only dream of running back to Italy at the court of Olivano Locatelli (one of the most respected and respected d.s. of our country) and pursuing the even bigger dream of a professional career full of successes.
    This is Marlen Zmorka. A brave guy who despite the young age has already had to fight so much and for this he is not afraid of anything.

    FROM VICTORIES TO THE DISAPPEARANCE OF SKYDIVE DUBAI PROJECT With Locatelli won all that was to win in Italy. And how many runs he wasted because of the excessive generosity that he could win, Olivano Locatelli remembers. "One with such means and with such dedication and seriousness, I had never found it, and some athletes believe I have discovered it ... Perhaps I could only compare it to Popovich. Anyway, I'm ready to put my hands on fire on the future of this runner and I've brought it to Fanini because I'm convinced she will find the right environment and the right timetable to come out, "explains d.s. Bergamo. After four years of prestigious successes and rankings such as the world's bronze and European silver in under-23 timepiece tests, finally comes the call from the Emirates Skydive Dubai team. A new reality with big projects and above all with a very important biennial contract. "Virtually all of them have disappeared," he says, "no one has ever been alive, and even to change team we have had to ask for the UCI's intervention. I only have to thank Olivano for not leaving me for a moment and for the Fanini family who welcomed me in open arms. Now I do not want to waste valuable time anymore. I just want to run and repay the trust of those who believed in me with so many victories. "

    NEW CHANCE With the Love & Life team - Selle SMP - Fondriest Marlen Zmorka will find a perfect environment, with d. And teammates who will support it in impeccable manner.
    "Zmorka is a very important reinforcement to our staff," says team manager Cristian Fanini, "I know him well and I know that with his potential he can become a champion. I also know that he is already riding hard despite forced inactivity and so we expect great results right away. I blindly trust Locatelli who I know since I am a child, or since my father in 1987 first launched it in the professionals with the Remac - Fanini team. I remember that by d.s. He did very well with us, but he loves to stay with the amateurs, in an environment where, results in hand, he is absolutely the 1st technical in the world. So knowing he'll follow him closely with my trusty man Francesco Frassi, I'm sure that we will get great satisfaction together. With him, Celano, Ficara, Halilaj, Zamparella and Bernardinetti, our team will still be able to grasp this season really great. "
    Marlen Zmorka will debut this Sunday at the GP Lugano 1.HC UCI Europe tour, where the love & life team - Selle SMP - Fondriest counts to be the protagonist.

    Bardiani-CSF announces to have signed under 23 rider Michael Bresciani. Born in Desenzano del Garda (Brescia) on 12 December 1994, Bresciani is a sprinter with good skills as rouleur. He rode the first part of the season with under 23 team Zalf-Euromobil-Desirée-Fior.

    “I’m really happy for the great chance that Bardiani-CSF offered to me” said Bresciani. “I’ve earned good experience in under 23 and I feel ready to make a new step. I know it won’t be easy, professional cycling is another world, another level of competition. But I’m really motivated. I already had the opportunity to chat with Bruno and Roberto Reverberi, soon I’ll meet also Zanatta. I also know well few of my new teammates, it will be a big help. I can’t wait wait to debut”.

    In 2017 Bresciani took one win (Circuito S. Urbano) and seven podiums. In the past, he took 13 successes as under 23 with teams Zalf-Euromobil (2016), ASD Rivaltese Bottoli (2014) and Marchiol-Emisfero (2013). In 2015 he had an experience with continental team Roth-Skoda. Bresciani has also raced with Italian team at Gran Piemonte (2016) and Trofeo Laigueglia (2015).

    " This is an opportunity that we could not give up. It is a 'Midnight Express' that passes only once in life and although with a great finish by Danilo season would unquestionably find a major contract for 2018 , we preferred that he tried immediately to 'jump on this train' , also chance because this proves that we were right.  We always knew that Danilo has quality to stand out in the world and the Vuelta, you will see, it will give even more proof, we're sure. There they will be the strongest athletes in the world ready to fight for victory in what is considered one of the three races at the most prestigious stages of the World Tour and we are confident that Danilo will be with them for battle. Indeed imbalance in saying that I will win at least a stage. "

    "Already in May we could see him in the Giro and it would be exciting but at the end maybe this is probably an even better opportunity. At the Giro he would make the wingman saw that we had found the opportunity to go on a World Tour team, while the Caja Rural will run from captain and be a leader in the stages that more befitting and there will be different. Then, the CR is a more 'humane' training and for a cyclist and a character as Danilo is certainly the best step to take at this very moment.We all just have to thank him for success and for the beautiful moments that regalat us or and we give him the greatest and most sincere good wishes for a Vuelta Espana a true hero and for the future of his career at the highest level, with hope you always remember Amore & Vita and our family.
