biciciclismo.com have been gathering information on the likely Route

Javier Guillen, director of the Spanish round, has confirmed that it will Ourense the starting point of the Tour next year, "possibly" with a team time trial and will be five stages by the four Galician provinces

The Tour of Spain 2016 (August 20 to September 11) will return to Alicante with a time trial in the Marina Alta, between Jávea (Xàbia) and Calpe (Calp).

Vuelta 2016: Marin-Mirador Ézaro first top finish

The third stage of the next edition of the Tour of Spain Marin link with the Mirador de Ézaro a final climb with slopes up to 29%.

Marin will host the start of the third round of the 2016 Vuelta, as confirmed by the Diario de Pontevedra , which conluirá O Ézaro, its viewpoint, a wall is less than 2 kilometers, 1.88, but with an average ramp 14 , 1% and reached a peak 29% ( see attached profile ). A rise reaching 270 meters.

He crashed a lot over the past two years, but won a stage in the Vuelta and finished Top 10 overall in both Tour & Vuelta, and Top 5 in the Dauphiné, all while riding for Cofidis. Maybe another stage win here and there would have been better, but I doubt both sides expected much more than that

    I should have specified that I meant Nacer Bouhanni, not Dani Navarro - who indeed got fairly much out of it.

    ah, Bouhanni, okay. Yeah, 5 GT stages wins last year, but they were probably expecting a bit more. Well, but he is still the best sprinter Cofidis ever had I guess, or generally the best sprinter on pro continental level
