Cyclocross World Cup Koksijde 2015
« on: November 23, 2015, 02:48 »
You can get the broadcasts from cyclingtorrents.nl.

Watching the UCI broadcast of the men's - round 3 atm. Talk about burning a match at the start - trying to get that hole shot for the first turn. Reminded me of bmx, but this goes a bit longer than bmx!  :lol

Nice coverage.

Somebody tell me - am I wrong - or are the courses these days more formulaic and more technical than what we would see 15-20 years ago? Not like I got any cx broadcasts when I was racing - but what cx I raced, and what I spectated (some US nationals), were not this technical.

We had more obstacles, and more stairs. None here at Koksijde. Lots of sand, mud, and short nasty climbs.

The race turned into a real mano-a-mano duel. Lead changed hands several times! Very exciting!

Have just watched the ladies race. Nikki Harris did well after the puncture to finish only 12 secs down to Cant.

    Very good ride by Nikki.
