Does anyone else find that the log in on Velogames stalls half the times you use it?

I had constructed a team, and was logged in, but it insisted on me logging in again, and that process froze, again.

Am in two minds as to whether to bother again...

It always "freezes" for me when I'm logging in, but the log in does work, you just need to reload the page. I always assumed it was my adblocker doing something that prevented it from running smoothly, but that's just guesswork.

You, me, and 144 others according to an email of apology that arrived in the middle of the night.  I hadn't particularly noticed the team listings, but the amount of amazing bargains made me suspicious as I compiled my team.

I make it that the league has only one Nostradamus - Murat Ozenmis. His team is the sole place you'll find Demare and since he also has Bouhanni, there's a fair chance he'll be leading after today. There's also a few with the Swift/Bouhanni/GVA combo in the mix.

     Another disastrous MSR.
I seem to be giving the kiss of death to so many riders in all these comps.
Plus I swapped out GVA last minute for this one race to get a Gaviria/Stybar combo.
Did the same with 4 pointer Montaguti for Haller.
    That all went well. :fp

Neither Murat or any of the Swift/Bouhanni/GVA crew are leading of course.  :lol

Gianluca trumps everyone with points from Swift, Roelandts, Bouhanni, Sonny, Trentin and Bonifazio.

Very low scores after this years edition of MSR with only two of us breaking the 100 point barrier. In 2015 the leader had 154 points and in 2014 it was 134.

    DDV up next on Wednesday.

A fairly low scoring round for most of us, the three exceptions being AlbertoB, Crispin O'Brien and Murat. They all exchanged a smorgasbord of transfers for a hatful of points. AlbertoB takes over the race lead.

Had to use more transfers and it's still wrong.

Gianluca was the winner on the day again and moved back on top of the pile. He looks to have quite a strong well rounded team and if we discount AlbertoB (who has shot his bolt with transfers) then his lead is over 50 points back to the chasing pack. His achilles could be a lack of the big guns from Etixx, but if they can't get their act together, then it looks a smart move to have avoided them.

Good performances too from Saganckc and Flo helped them both move up the leaderboard.

Despite only having a so-so round, leader Gianluca extends his lead as his closest rivals had slim pickings too.

Flo had the best team on the day and is now the closest realistic challenger, with Bike Bint and Ozgur having good races too.

Category 1 race RVV up next. Time to lose those Etixx riders?

That's the second category one race out of the way and Gianluca didn't have such a good day. He finished ~60 points behind our "stage" winner Archie (he won RVV last year as well) who had four of the top five finishers yesterday. Archie moves up to fourth in the GC, just ahead of a couple of other recognisable VR members.

In comparison to last year's scoring, our leader is now 180 points behind what I had at this point twelve months ago. I was thinking this was down to some more unusual results (in MSR mainly), but I also reckon it's because the riders have been priced up at a more realistic level.

Quite a few crashes occurred in RVV, so maybe people won't have a choice about making some transfers, but do you use the transfers with Scheldeprijs in mind or just forget it and focus on PR?

Both :P I picked him before MSR cause I thought he was one of the 4 pointers who could surprise somewhere this classics season.

I am a bit annoyed because I brought Stannard in for Rowe and GVA in for Cancellara (to free up points) before RVV :S

The competition is starting to simmer up nicely. Gianluca maintains his advantage, but it's all very close from Archie (2nd) down to Flo (6th). Joel was the clear winner on the day and is hot on the heels of JSG in their basement GC battle.

For me I think it was worthwhile bringing in Kittel for this one race. Not only because it turned out that he won, but with a GVA injury induced transfer having to occur at some point anyway, it almost felt like a half price transfer for the German (if that makes any sense).

Bit of a transfer mess up for me. Used two up and went for the wrong options in both.

Cafe Roubaix and our long time leader Gianluca were the big winners on the day. Both having Boonen, Stannard and Vanmarcke along with some other bits and pieces. The gap is now 67 points from first to second. Flo moves up to third, but has only seven transfers left for the Ardennes. Doh!

Gianluca's lead is up to 76. If he can maintain that through till after AGR I reckon he's got it sewn up.

Some question marks for the upcoming races though. Gerrans or Matthews? Martin or Alaphilippe? Henao or Kwiatkowski? Harry or Jelle?
