Synergy Baku with experienced team to Morocco
(April 4, 2018) The Synergy Baku Cycling Project is sending an experienced team to the Tour of Morocco, which runs April 6-15. The 10 stages cover more than 1500 kilometers.
Kirill Pozdnyakov and Oleksandr Polivoda will lead the team, with support from Elchin Asadov, who won stage 7 of the race last year for his first pro victory. They will be backed up by Samir Jabrayilov, Enver Asanov and Elgun Alizada.
The race opens on Friday, April 6, with a stage from Rabat to Meknes. It ends on Sunday, April 15, with a stage from El Jadida to Casablanca. Six of the stages feature ranked climbs, and there is no time trial in this UCI 2.2-ranked race.
