Some of us have issues logging in, but it's the first I've heard of problems with registering. Are you using æ, ø or å? Could be it doesn't like unusual letters (that's just a wild guess).

Of course, if this turns out someday to be the industry standard integrated handlebar-computer-braking solution then I'll eat my kevlar-reinforced aerodynamic hat.

I'm in. Always struggle with GTs on Velogames, so I've changed tactics this time. Low value GC riders to spread the quality across the board.

Doesn't matter what tactics you use, you are going to need luck to beat some entrants.
Definitely a few have this game down to a fine art, while the rest of us have more of a Jackson Pollock approach. :lol

I agree it's very hard with certain GTs. This one is no exception. They banker guys are so expensive and the darker horses aren't in abundance.
CQ is likely to be less of a headache and that's always a tough budget.

Before MV scares anyone off from entering, I would point out that Trudgin is the defending champ.

I think she was at odds of 5000-1 or something beforehand.  :P

Very difficult to do back-to-back titles.

    10,000/1 this time?

Leaderboard going into the final week:

At a quick glance things look good for Ozgur (who like Archie has been very close to the top in a lot of the leagues this year), but if we look closer second place Pandel has both Chaves and Kruijswijk. Should be an interesting finish to the first GT.

I would like to remind people that it's meant to be one team per person. My spidey senses are tingling with regard to somebody who seems to be a bit of a Trek fan along with liking certain past and present riders of that team.

    Who4ever are you talking about?

Happy with being in 3rd place, doubt I'll move up but hopefully yesterdays stage was a sign of things to come and Firsanov will score me some more points in the final week.

    and the winner is....

.....Broken Saddles (who underwent a partial name change in the final week). Congratulations!

The best picks for each category would have been -

All Rounders: Valverde and Nibali (with Kruijswijk not far off for half the cost)
Climbers: Chaves and Majka (Atapupu the best cheap choice)
Sprinters: Nizzolo despite his last stage DSQ was still just ahead of Modolo
    Unclassed: Jungels, Ulissi and Trentin
