Of course, if this turns out someday to be the industry standard integrated handlebar-computer-braking solution then I'll eat my kevlar-reinforced aerodynamic hat.

Finally some Marianne team news! CyclingOnline has reported that Rabo team manager Eric van den Boom has confirmed that Vos, Niewiadoma, Koster, Korevaar, Kastelijn and Tenniglo are the current riders staying with the team for next year. Especially with the previous rumors of Niewiadoma heading to Liv-Plantur, her staying is some really good news for that team.

    Today's Belang van Limburg

Jolien D'Hoore extends with Wiggle-High5 with one year. She had a lot of offers from other teams but wished to clarify the situation before the Worlds.

I love how the journo from the Belang considered Madrid Challenge prestigious.  :lol

    Rabo-Liv to become Fortitude Cycling.

Some interesting signings as well. Riejanne Markus has shown some really promising things this season, great signing. Kitchen, Scandolara and Plichta also really good signings. Funny thing is, they do seem to be a bit friendly signings: both Kitchen and Scandolara are good friends with Vos, and Plichta is a very good friend of Niewiadoma, who is staying after previously being linked with Liv-Plantur. I wonder if Plichta is the reason she is staying..

Rotem Gafinovitz is the weird signing. An Israeli with no real results to speak of. I would love to know the thought behind this. I wonder if it's a case of taking on a rider from a non-traditional cycling nation, who has potential that might not show up in results for a number of reasons, and try to help them develop in a professional environment. Kind of what Wiggle did with Hagiwara, which did pay off for them.

I thought riders weren't allowed to wear their new jerseys until the contract with their old team officially ended at the end of the year? It is a good looking jersey, by the way.

On topic, good move for Ferrand-Prevot. For next year rather than have a few superteams and not much else, we have one superteam with Boels and then a lot of good teams like Fortitude, Canyon, Wiggle, Liv, Orica, etc. Boels are still ridiculous, but overall the talent is spread more evenly than it was in recent years.
