Very good point, but for the faint-hearted can these be covered by the TOUD acronym!

It is and it's quite nice in a sober sort of way. There does seem to be an n-- formula kicking around where some teams copy the general thrust of another team's kit from the year before. So I think that, even with the single hoop and a redeeming white block, DD 2017 is more than a little Sky 2016.
No, no - you're thinking of Leopard-Trek 2011. It's almost exactly the same!

Meanwhile FDJ and Astana have bought into the fallacious idea that a two-piece kit could be properly reimagined as a one-piece display, the jersey merging into the shorts. Both are a bit silly, in my opinion, but at least Astana riders won't betray traces of urinary dribbles.
    This. So much this.
Probably born from the ridiculous wearing of one-piece skinsuits for road stages, which should be forbidden by UCI rules.

Ag2R and FDJ apart (which haven't changed and I liked 'em anyway) this is one of the better 'new' ones...

Astana's was ... hmm... not good. I shall miss full turquoise, it was easy to spot.

I can think of only two examples where it does work:

    Champion System 2012-2013

    Cycling Academy 2016[1]

    All the rest ... nah.
Champion System 2012-2013 still remains a high point of jersey design to me.
     1. admittedly, there's not much design to fit the champions' jerseys to in the first place

I'm not convinced this is indeed the 2017 kit for Fumeaux - no sight of the team's new co-sponsor Akros, e.g.

But it's nice to see a fully red #champch jersey instead of those atrocities we've had to endure all too often lately.
